I'm surprised we don't have a thread on these yet. they look very cool to me. Love the one with the scissors.  If they go into production I'm definitely getting one. :D

I'm generally a fan of Spyderco, and I applaud them for trying something a bit different.  However, I can't help but look at these tools and think that they just don't have any clear advantage over a SAK.

The spyderhole just doesn't work for anything more than single blade.

I was actually just thinking about these a few days ago. I really hope they put these into production at a reasonable price.  :tu:

Nice ideas, but I gotta agree with nate j, I can't see this displacing a SAK from my pocket

The scissors is cute, and it looks like a 'whale scissors'.  But the sharp fish scaler looks kinda funny, is it supposed to be a saw or a serrated blade?

I kind of like these.

There seems to be done interesting trends going on lately.  Tool manufacturers seem to be leaning towards more simplified tools like one piece designs while knife companies seem more interested in making knives with tools on them.

It seems to be successful for knife makers which is interesting because Leatherman's history of knives with tools on them has been an utter failure.

I think what didn't help leatherman on the knife front is that a lot of people don't know that they exist. Everybody knows what the folding pliertool is. I even have peaple call my Flik a leatherman.

I think these knivies are kinda neat. Very simple.

In the video, the presenter refers to it as a serrated blade.

I have been wanting to try out one of these, but just have not pulled the trigger on one yet. I found them for $22.40 shipped. Pretty good price in my opinion. Maybe I will try one out sooner or later.

I like the looks of this little tool, its smaller than a Cadet tho which made me hold off.  If the price went down I'd pick one up to have a play.
