Thanks, I’ve always loved models, especially putting them together, but painting, I just suck at! These are 100% flat sheets and you have to bend and shape the pieces unlike the plastic ones that come pre-formed and ready to glue, and unlike them these don’t use glue (bummer) each piece has little tabs that get inserted into a little hole and you either have to twist or bend it to lock the piece into place, can say it can get very tricky! But I like them!

Well, I was searching the web last night and somehow I came across one of my fav patches, I bought one of these waaaay back but it was stitch, and then I found these in pvc like last year and was like OMG, and of course there like 3x the price, but I had to have one for my hat,
Anyway last night I came across the same guy I bought mine from and he’s selling them dirt cheap, I originally bought my one for like $6 plus shipping, well, he’s now selling them for $2 a piece or 5 for $8, plus shipping I’m like holy crap I’d be getting literally a discount on one plus 3 free, so I just had to get the Mrs to approve which didn’t take much, but I also got the guy to switch things up cause you get 5 of one, but I asked if I could get 2 of the two and just one of the odd ball, and he’s like sure, so that’s what I just got!
I like them cause it splits the line and does both red and blue rather then always one, and of course the punisher!

I got me a Leatherman Curl recently.  I like the trimmed down Wave (one of my favorite and most carried tools) approach.  It’s great as a lightweight multi for when I’m just chilling at home  :tu:

I usually use Windows Paint to open the images and resize them to 80% or until they get below 500Kb.

On my iPad I have to take a pic of what ever pic but of it shrunk, then crop pic in order to post it..

Well that all sounds like a PITA lol.  I used to be able to post pics no problem.  Oh and my pics were each 3.6 MB, which is much larger than allowed.  I don’t know why they’re that big, and not sure it’s even possible to make them so much smaller.   :think:  :dunno:

I use ibb to host the image and then just paste the link in the post, highlight it and click the image button in the editor  :tu:

Yeah, that’s going to be like the last one, cause it has like the most freaking small parts! Like over 250! But still working on the house, only got a few more projects left but then I can start working on the models, but I gotta make them last cause idk when I’ll be able to get any more,,

Thanks, I know being a ex plumber you would have thought I would have done that but I only have some 1-1/2” pvc somewhere and that’s way too small! And since we don’t drive ordering the pegs were just simple! What I really wanted to do was build a cabinet but again, I don’t really have any wood, besides a ton of 2x4’s but really need a sheet of ply, let alone a table saw,, but oh well, tomorrow’s a day off maybe I’ll work on my desk, maybe the other half of the workbench and organizing the tools, I mean heck mostly everything’s in a 5gal bucket lol,
