Almost done, hope to get a "first production run" Companion BlackBlade, this month my car swallowed the $$ for that....

I was surprised to find that the Companion heavy duty  has a bigger handle as well, and from the specs on the website the BlackBlade is 1mm longer than the standard Companion?

Anybody handled one yet?

I've also placed an order for the Outdoor 2000 and axe combo, the knife will go into the collection and the axe will be a user.

I have a question for the Mora fans regarding the Bushcraft line.....

The local shop with the bast variety of Mora products has a Forest Bushcrafts (or Bushcraft Forest?) in stock, basically the standard knife just with green handle and sheath.

On their website however this model is shown with a blade similar to the Outdoor 2000......

Maybe just old stock?

I've only got the two, but not for long I fear. I'll be ordering a 612 soon, or maybe an original #1 with the laminated blade :drool:

I have a similar knife made for the Norwegian Civil Defence by Brødrene Øyo. Ill post some pics later.

Thanks! Yeah, I've looked at 612s once before. I want my wood handle Mora fix! The laminated may be the one, though I suppose the laminated blade holds little real world advantage for me, and I could get a 612 and 2 others for the price.

I forgot to add it is a small/slight one.  I microbevel all mine anyway.
