Hurry.  Post a bunch of comments before he sees!

Nice one SG.  Staglon and I don't really get along, but I do love Uncle Henry knives all the same.

I wish we could get Rough Rider knives down here.
Importing is such a pain.

There are two on a local site but they are as gaudy as heck.  Diamond Jim and Bowie series.

Looking good!  I've found that cutting steak does a great job of "bluing" a blade.  I have forced a patina on a couple of knives with vinegar, but it just turns grey rather than blue.

The wood looks great even in the pic.  I'm not familiar with the Tiny Trapper.  How small is it?

It's a littleun. :) Here it is with a Compact. Tiny Trapper probably isn't its correct name, but it's smaller than a Case mini Trapper, so.......

Day 22

GEC #53 Equal End Cigar / White Owl / Moose / Furtaker Muskrat. (I don't know what differentiates these names, which seem to be used interchangeably, and I can't find the tube mine came in to verify. Suffice to say, it's a #53 and the full model number is 531212.) My only other GEC, I believe this one is ebony wood. The clip blade on this one was impossible to open for a while, but over the last couple years it seems to have gotten better. Now both blades are strong, but not too difficult.

May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

Forgot to post yesterday, but I alternated between my two Schrade Old Timer Stockmen--the 89OT "Blazer" and the 34OT "Middleman".   I also carried the 89OT this evening as to leave my Case "Mini Hawkbill" in my other pants with my wallet and cellphone so I know it's there when I leave to meet the college bus at 5:30 AM.

And today, yet again, the Case Mini Hawkbill.
