Is that the RR Highland Cattleman? It's even bigger than I thought it was!

Yes, it is large.  It really is not a Cattleman as both blades share the same pivot.
I was told it was a Equal End Cigar knife by a reputable member here  :pok:

I'd call it an equal end cigar pattern as well.  :iagree:  I love the look of the thing (whatever it's called) but for my taste it just seems too big for my pockets. :D

Steve and Gareth, great looking knives that have been part of life for someone who had privilege of owning.

For me, I added a bit more to my travel bag than maybe needed, yet have not unpacked since arriving.   Letting the dogs chill after arriving.

My pocket knife is a G10 trapper

And this is Apollo, keeping me in easy sight, in case hand becomes free for head scratch!

Schrade 34OT which is a great size for me.  I also decided to pocket my Camillus Trapper during their unfortunate departure.  I have no clue what Highlander is and toyed with removing it. The #8 on the tang is not something I know about.  Its a heavy knife being brass and wood.  Heavy in a good way.  Its also well made.

There is a lot of blade length on this one.  I really like Camillus did that.  They extended the blades darn near as far as reasonable.  The back springs show its not been stored with oil however the rest of the knife is in remarkable shape.  The blades are stainless of which I'm not certain as Camillus used 440A and possible others.
