Nice trads as always.

Congrats Harley, I agree with LC the clip is California tho resembles a muskrat as well.  Its likely a interpretation of a "classic" California clip.  I read a nice article with some thoughts on the topic but I cannot recall where.  I was comparing some of my Trads clip point blades at the time.  The CV will patina easily and the Amber bone only gets better looking the more you handle it.

That looks real nice Harley.

A 18 pattern?  I believe that is called a California Clip is the main blade.

There are different patterns of Stockman? Sigh I know so little about this.

There are different patterns of Stockman?

By my count, Case currently makes no less than seven different stockman patterns:  33, 18, 032, 44, 47, 087, & 75.

Yes, I know that CASE makes several Stockman patterns, clip blade may be different, pen blade instead of a Spey Blade, square bolsters vs rounded bolsters, knife sizes.

My Amber Bone is a “STOCKMAN”, rounded bolsters, a deeper clip point blade, and it’s pattern is a ‘47’

You can also confirm by the tang stamp on the sheeps foot blade, the last two or three digits reveal the pattern.

To decode the stamped number this is a page from a CASE catalog,

Might take a while but yes.  I wouldn't say wear down, more like smooth out.  Pocket worn bone is a wonderful thing.
