Some great carries, y'awl! :tu:

In anticipation of a wiring project, I dropped an old favorite into my pocket...

Today I went with Imperial Frontier Stockman 4435 SS.  I also went with Case 31749L CV in wonderful Yellow.

Funny that I initially thought the powder horn on the tang was a chili  :D.  Its a gorgeous knife and what I understand is the Frontier was competing with Schrades at the time till Mr Baer took over in 84/85 and consolidated the two companies.  No need to have a competing knife so the Frontiers were no longer made.

Per my research, that pattern was introduced in 1998. So Aloha's 31749 is no more than 25 years old.

Thanks for the kind words, y'awl, and some mighty fine carries yourselves! :tu:
