Bad times just keep getting worse.

I have not been around much lately and for good reason. First off I had my car get flooded by rain water a few weeks back which was a real pain in the smurf. Then a few days later I had my upstairs neighbor flood my entire apartment. It destroyed a lot of my property and the entire apartment. I smelled a electrical fire as well. Thank goodness the knife gods where looking down on me and I do not believe any of my knives/MT's were ruined. I packed them up and sent them all off with a family member for safe keeping while I figure out what the smurf I am going to do. I had to remove everything from my apartment and put it all in storage until they can fix all the damage. I have to leave out all the other details as a lawsuit is most likely coming. I still do not have a place to live and they keep telling me they have no where to put me.  :facepalm: Its been a rough week and the unknown only makes it worse. Sorry to sound negative, but I have to get it off my chest. If we have any attorneys in the house feel free to PM me with any advice as it would be greatly appreciated.  :salute:

I forgot to mention. I grabbed my BO Spyderco Salt1 full serrated, Rebar, Style PS, Olight, and Maglite. They have been invaluable to me over the last few days and have saved my bacon more than a few times.

That is really awful. I hope things turn around and get better for you soon. Best of luck getting things sorted out, especially if the legal system is involved.

 :o Holy Cow Capt. Spaulding, what did you do to upset the water gods?

I'm glad the knife collection made it out intact, although that really sucks to hear about place getting destroyed like that. Hopefully everything works itself out, although based on the fact that there is a lawsuit suggests things are probably not looking good for someone... (I hope its looking bad for the other guy, just saying).

I hope you find a decent place to stay soon!

smurf man, that all sucks pretty bad.  Hang in there though, things will work out eventually.  I have no doubt you'll pull through.  If I lived a little closer I'd invite you to come crash on my couch.  It might be a bit of a commute for you though.

Rough set of circumstances CAP :(.  I hope not too much was ruined do to the water damage with either car or home/possessions.  With all the insurances California businesses are required to carry I hope the apartment does the right thing for you quickly.  Stay positive as best you can while things sort out.  In the mean time wishing you some peace.
