I like the color on yours.  One I have is more on the yellow side.
Thank you, I liked the dark cherry red color as well as the jimping (new word to me)

Day 14:

Bear & Sons made Kodiak Trapper for today.  :)
The Kodiak series is a more premium hand-finished line from Bear(made in my home state). The quality is easily on par with Case, and so is the price.  :ahhh

Ah, so there are some of good quality. I've been looking at the one they make exclusively for Red Hill Cutlery out of Kentucky using the Small Trapper (3" closed) called the "Bear Trap" which has a serrated skinning blade. Got a little late tonight playing Sims 4, I actually created my first full family (husband, wife, teenage daughter, teenage son) and it adds a whole different layer to the gameplay.

Figure I'd get more stuff out of my pockets and onto my belt with the Ripoffs CO-7 I bought so I could carry a flashlight with my Super Tool 300 and Knipex Mini Cobras. My Rebar fits into the back pocket, the 110 in the knife/tool pocket, and my LED Lenser P6X in the light slot (it's designed for a Mini Maglite).

Wow, that 1921 is in great shape! My 1942 definitely shows being used 77 years, so I don't think twice when I want to tote it around the house (as I don't want to risk losing it). I'm wondering--why a spear point blade? I thought all M1908s were clip-point, and that spear points were an M1891 thing.

They used both, my 56 is a spear point.
