The bright colors are not my usual style, but the Tom Sawyer in me couldn't resist the obvious Union Jack motif.  :tu:

If you look at it in the mirror, with your eyes slightly crossed--not too much, but a little--and a squint, it looks just like a Union Jack.

I'm guessing that Case went with this gaudy handle to honor Sheffield, England, generally accepted to be the origin of the Barlow.   :dunno:

Nice Barlow.      :like:     Need to put a pic of it over in the Barlow thread.    :tu:

Day 17

GEC48 trapper with a Fiction folder Svord...I don't why but I always prefer my (modern) folders in the range of 4 inch+, but am totally fine with regular 91mm SAK at 3.5inch, but for traditional, I still think the 3.5-4in could be the sweet spot.  I think maybe that has something to do Traditionals usually come with smaller pivots and straighter handles?

Day 16

GEC 48 Improved Trapper and 43 Oregon Trapper.

When I got home from work and saw how far behind I was today. I'm not going to be able to comment on all the great knives and pics.

Day 16:

Since I had a doctor's appointment today, and I was wearing a pair of shorts that you can't hardly put anything in (most stuff I EDC is too heavy, other stuff just slides out and disappears, never to be seen again) I put the 110 into my Ripoffs CO-7 and clipped the sheath (containing flashlight, 110, and Cobra pliers) into the water bottle pocket in the pack. I put it on my belt later today. Used my hawkbill for most of the cutting tasks to be done today.

Cutting back on the junk food really helped--lost two pounds (that was wearing the same clothes as last time; but with a LM Squirt in my pocket this time; which adds what 2 ounces?) and my cholesterol had gone down 50 points. Which I'm not even sure why it was so high in the first place--I"m only 23.

(Image removed from quote.)

That's a great improvement Cody, keep it up  :tu:
Also nice carry  ;)

Be careful of the vintage rabbit hole. Its very deep. Should you enter in there be very cautious. Should you encounter a collector of pre-40 knives. Run!!! Run very fast and dont trip up.    :D
