Nice usages for sure.  :like:
Is the pool table in a man cave? I miss playing on my brothers as he moved to a smaller place and no room!
No, we have two tables at the Y I work at.  It is amazing how tips just disappear from cues every night.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 24:

No chicken...no challenge!   :viking:

For this evening, I decided to keep it fairly simple. First the backbone was removed, then the wishbone. After that, the bird got split down the middle....

Well, the little Ranger might be my favorite knife for this task so far. The fine tip was great for taking out the backbone and wishbone. Overall the knife gives enough leverage and power to cut through ribs with ease. And splitting the breastbone was remarkably easy.

I think the Ranger was even a bit easier to use for this chicken than it's big brother, the Buck 110. The smaller size gives a wee bit more control (I think). Regardless, the Ranger was right in its element taking this chicken apart.

After becoming bisected, the chicken got well dusted with salt and Hawaij (a Middle-Eastern spice blend). Then tossed on the grill until tender and......delicious!

Ranger for the win!  :tu:

Looks tasty!   I do agree about the 112's ergonomics. Usually smaller versions of a full-sized pattern are just simply scaled down. Yet, I personally find the 112 ergonomics better than the 110's.
