Day 23:

A little light package opening and air cushion deflation. The 110 was overkill for this....but it needed doing.

Day 24:

The 110 helped me cut some plastic tarp to size:

I placed it around our garden lounge pillows so the neighborhood cat can sleep there without leaving it's hairs in the pillows.
Jake would turn mad if I take in inside next winter, otherwise :D

DAY 24

So we decided to get an XBox to help beat the lockdown blues. It’s been 20 years since I done any gaming. I used to love Tombraider 1 on the PlayStation

When I started this challenge I polished my Ebony 110 but haven't polished it since so it will be nice to see the patina build up over the month. There’s also a couple of appearances from my slightly older 2017 model with a added thumb stud. Before the end of month my Chairman edition may make an appearance  ;)

DAY 25:

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.

Lest we forget.

Weather broke, took time to enjoy being outside while cleaning some Trumpet vines from my privacy fence area. My tools pictured -
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Did you make any ANZAC biscuits to honor the day?

I made some ANZAC biscuits last year. A strange recipe but those biscuits really grew on me. I keep a tin of Lyle's Golden Syrup in the cupboard in case I need to make another batch.

Day 24:

Got out for a hike today. Rain clouds broke up and the day seemed down right warm. We got some rain down in the valley, but I think the mountains got a little fresh snow.

110 rode loose in my pants pocket. Really didn't notice it.

I specifically wanted to walk this area because a moose had been spotted near here yesterday. No moose spotted, but I saw several deer, squirrels, and chipmunks. THere are two does in the picture below, giving me the suspicious eye. They are hard to see in photo, but they are there, bedded down behind a fallen tree, near the top of the slope. (There was a Buck another 50 yards to the south, but he was even harder to photograph.)

These Pasque flowers (a favorite deer food) were everywhere. A sure sign of Spring!

Day 24 (bonus material):

The 110 got pressed into service to split a butternut squash which then got roasted for dinner. Delish!
