Day 26:

No uses for the '66 today....I think....  Sometimes it is just so reflexive to pull a SAK out of one's pocket, use it, and put it right back, that it's easy to forget if you used it. Let's just say that I can't recall a specific use today......

Day 26. I think I'll finish out the challenge's last few days with the 1942. I just don't carry it much it seems. Mainly because, it's heavy, 100mm Soldiers are NOT easy to come by in the States at my budget (and in fact, this has been the only one),  the blade is short and banged up; and there is no way to fit a modern Phillips screw on the thing. That's on the old 100mm version of the technician driver; and I have never seen one of those offered for sale. And I'm sure the $20 I paid for this knife wouldn't touch it given the rarity of 100mm non-Soldiers.

Day 27: My '96 is definitely a user!  It's battle scars are part of it's beauty.  I wish it could talk.

Great work, everyone!

Day 27

Whilst checking on the overnight progress in the veg patch this morning, I noticed that the cherry tomatoes need tying in higher up, so the main blade on new recruit ‘19 slices up some twine for me. Normally I would have used scissors here, but a blade is just as effective!

Used the main blade to open a couple bags of mulch. No action photo, but in the plastic bag vs main blade contest the winner is fairly predictable.....

Rip those limiters off! I had to do that on the saw. Factory setting was way to lean for my blood. Even with 50:1. I was gifted an old stihl weed eater that won’t stop. It’s still drinking the same mix from last fall. Of course as I type this I probably jinxed it
