Now I will admit, I am actually embarrassed to say this,
But the last two evenings I watched awl four of the LAKE PLACID MOVIES.  Courtesy of TUBI!

The first one, LAKE PLACID, was not bad, a 6.5/10. Interesting cast and a plot.
Then LAKE PLACID 2,  you knew there was going to be a part 2 just how the first ended.   More people are croc food.
Tonight just had to learn how bad LP3 would be, starts off right away with two victims, then e en more.
And then there was a LAKE PLACID FINAL CHAPTER…
A whole bus full of teenagers take a wrong turn…

The last three combined score (not anaverage) 3.2/10!

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

The first one with Betty white and Oliver platt, yes that’s a good one, I think the Mrs and I watched the others maybe once a while back but that was it, I can’t remember anything, so they must have sucked..

The original Lake Placid was good.  I tried to make myself watch Lake Placid 2 on two occasions but failed.  It really reeked.  Best wishes.  G

Arnold's "Commando" was on yesterday when I was doing some late night fixing. So much 80s cheese, silly dialogue, oneliners, infinite bullets, gasoline explosions and peak Arnie. What's not to like. 10 out of 10. (I had the Commando poster as a motivator on my wall as a teen...)

Siren  2013.  There are several movies with the same title.  This is the one of a young woman who has to stay secluded in a big house to keep from driving men crazy.  Good cast.  Interesting plot.  Best wishes.  G

Under the Skin  2013.  Scarlett Johansson.  Not one for the kids to watch.  Beautiful demon picks up men and takes them to a strange place.  Plot is scrambled and wanders around.  Actors are Scots and I had to do subtitles.  Best wishes.  G

Nightworld  2017.  I realized that I had previously seen this movie.  Didn't remember hardly anything about it, which isn't usually a recommendation.  It was entertaining, maybe because I remembered so little of it.  Best wishes.  G

Doctor Sleep  2019.  A continuation of Stephen King's The Shining.  It takes off in different directions and comes back to the Overlook Hotel.  Two hours and a half length.  If you liked The Shining, you probably will like this.  I only saw the original version.  I didn't see Stephen King make a guest appearance in this one, but I might have had to go for chips or something and missed it.  Best wishes.  G

Abigail  2024.  Supposed to be a horror/comedy.  Not too comedic.  If you wanted Abbott and Costello vs Frankenstein, this ain't it.  It was pretty good, or maybe I was just in the right mood.  Watched Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin cartoon before.  Great as always.  Best wishes.  G
