If you eat a big plate of scrambled eggs or roasted chicken while walking through a flock of geese they will leave you alone and get out of your way because it lets them know the extent of the violence you are capable of.

Day 20
Idly sufing the web I came across this pic of my EDC a year ago.

Three items out of four made it to this challenge so I guess that not changing my setup isn´t being overly challenging for me -although I´m itching for some rotation by now

DAY 20

An unwanted return to work today  Luckily (or unluckily  ) I hadn't imbibed at the time  ::)
So, fast forward a few hours and the the Utili-Key was pulled out to open a cider. It failed, miserably  :twak:

Thankfully, the True Utility Trolly Dolly stepped up and after four attempts managed the task at hand  :tu:

Suffice to say that neither will be used again for beer duties (except in an emergency)  :ahhh
They don't like it up 'em!

EDC 20:

(Day 20 already!   :ahhh)

Early in the day, the BAK cut open the plastic strapping on a gift box of fruit, sent by Mrs Nix's sister. Such a sweetie!

Later the same BAK got used (after being wiped clean) to open bananas for use in banana bread.

The banana bread smells amazing!  I made it more like a cake than a loaf of bread.....'cuz Mrs Nix likes it better this way.  Good news: I have been re-promoted to "Better Than Useless" [BTU] husband status again.

So far the holidays are going really well for me!   :D

Day 20
That's 2/3rds of the challenge in the books.

I received a package that I wasn't expecting until Tuesday! :woohoo:  The knife blade on the Leatherman Sidekick was easily flicked open by my thumb and required almost no effort to slip through the tape and release my prize.  A battery operated fuel pump (The Turbo Pump, as seen on TV).

Pics!   ....or it didn't happen!

(This banana bread/cake is so easy that I'm glad I forget to make it too often. Mrs Nix noticed the bananas were looking riper than she likes and announced that "something needed to be done." I used pecans instead of walnuts.  :D)

Nothing to do today for most EDC items. Busy day, just no need for tool use. Kinda sad  :-\ Only thing that got used was the handkerchief.

Day 21

Mail opening only so far, but rather nice mail. A heartwarming letter from my sponsored child’s mother in Bangladesh translated into English by the World Vision team. Meraj is the second child I’ve sponsored and it’s been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done, highly recommend it if your situation allows.
And a letter from the RSPCA with a picture of the dog I’m sponsoring with my monthly donations. Again very satisfying

What’s the AV box they’re sitting on Sos?
I’ve a home studio so always interested in audio gear (Echotech being from my love of echo boxes)
