Due to halfway expected circumstances, I know what my day 1 is going to look like. I'm getting deja vu, and my anticipation is mounting.

It depends on the tool and task, I suppose.

You're trying to use the tool exclusively for all tool-related tasks.  Relevant tools are those that are typically found on Multitools/SAKs  Knives, screwdrivers, etc.

So allowed tools would be those that don't generally come on multitools - hammers, ratchets, etc.  You'd mention these usages in passing.  But do so particularly if the tool in question comes on some multitools but not the Challenge tool - e.g. file or pliers.  The point of this is to show where a Farmer X didn't stand up to the task.

Tools that are not allowed - basically any other multitool besides the Challenge tool. 

It's mainly that you write about the case that you took out the Farmer X and it couldn't complete the task. But it shouldn't be that you never attempted to do the job with your Farmer X, and instead went straight for a Leatherman or a hand saw.

ElevenBlade summed it up pretty well.

Tools required for work or other responsibilities are allowed and don’t count.  As far as other tools, if you anticipate you might need something more, then you can carry a back-up.  But the goal is to try to complete as much as possible with the Farmer X of what you would normally use your carry tools to do.

Tomorrow (Day 1) is a work day, so no carry ::) Therefore useage might not happen :dunno:

Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the minimal sak (2 layers or fewer) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Leatherman Skeletool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Spyderco knife for thirty (30) consecutive days.

Take a pic of use each day of the challenge, or just a beauty shot of the knife, or a pic of the task you couldn’t do explaining why the SAK wasn’t up to that task - I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it as the month progresses. Bon chance pour demain! :tu:

Can we post a pic twice or more (not the same pic of course) of the same use?  :think:
For example opening a beer with bottle-opener and post a pic of that twice (or more) within the month.
