Day 29 (man it went fast)

Went to the in-laws to color Easter eggs.  The Farmer X cut open the packages of dye tablets.

Day 29
Snowed in, and also 100km winds. No bicycle for me today.

Instead, I took some links out of a metal watch band.

The awl is just barely skinny enough to push the pins far enough for pliers to yank them out!.

Now it fits on my wrist, which is the ideal place for a wrissmurfch.

End: Day 29

30.

The final day. Preparing for a bike ride into town, 25km each trek. Getting a new haircut, buying tea in the store.
In the Maxpedition pouch is my bike repair kit, including a LM Crunch.  :multi: :climber:

Echotech, Coco is a good actor! :D Jothra, can’t fault your logic, the wrist is indeed an ideal place for a wrissmurfch! We were luckier with the weather as I managed a first post lockdown meeting with some friends in the garden - it was surprisingly warm yesterday and meant to be warmer still today!  :tu:

Seeing that it is day 30 for some, I thought I’d let everyone know that a badge for the Farmer X challenge has been created.  I didn’t see it in the list yet, but it will be their, it is just it didn’t get set to the mods until yesterday.

Great stuff, Sos24! Nice blade, Echotech!

Day 30 - already!

Postie dropped off a load of junk mail, but one parcel did provide work for the awl, a new watercolour material catalogue! Doubtless I’ll be posting a celebratory drink later on today!

You too, guibur, and bonne chance for your next challenge - enjoy the day off tomorrow!

Day 30 bonus

Well the jab went fine, no side effects so far, and as it was so nice outside, I did a spot of weeding. Time for a cold one to recover, and I see Finn has gone and helped himself to a dunkel! Wonder if he’ll share.....?!

Well done on what, will no doubt be, the first of many more challenges  :tu:

You've already discovered what great place this is and it's down simply to those that make up the membership  :salute:

I would join you on the next challenge but;

1) I don't have 30 SAKS yet (Alox is not cheap here in the UK  ::) )

2) I've done a number of challenges over the past few months (including an inadvertent double in Jan'  )

3) I'm looking forward to be able to carry some of my other bits 'n' pieces (without being restricted)

I look forward to sharing a beer :drink: with you, and anyone else who's nearby when I'm next in Nice.

Santé

FX Day 30:

I enjoyed this challenge....maybe a bit too much....but didn't really challenge the FX. It handled awl my EDC tasks with ease and was a pleasure to carry. I can't really find a fault with this multitool--it ticks awl the boxes, is easy to clean, and has a useful toolset.

If I could own only one SAK.....it would be an FX. Foot stomp.

Day 30

I‘m glad to finish my first challenge.
I touched my FXs every day, but I carried them not every day. I love my other Alox to much, and my office-SAK is PX. But outdoors the FXs are my favorites.

Last shot is a group-photo of my FXs.

DAY 30

What can I say :dunno: Y'awl are the reason I bothered staying (and spent money  ::) ) Thank you awl for both

Once again you've proved, despite the amazing SAKs (and pics etc.) it's you making it worthwhile, on both counts.

I'm taking a break, from challenges for a few months, to carry some of the stuff I've bought both from here and as a result of being here (sodding enablers  :pok: )

I'll leave you with my thanks; for another great opportunity to make an ar*e of myself, and the last shots of the FX basking in the unusually sunny weather we are enjoying in Ol' Blighty and then with my dinner (5 Guys  )

Stay safe out there people  :hatsoff: :salute:
