FX Day 27 (bonus chicken shot, with special guest appearance by the FX):

I don't have any homemade pickles, but I do did have some lovely grilled chicken, courtesy of the FX.  ;)

Day 27 Part 1

If you look really, really hard, you can still see the non-photo lead I used to do my (admittedly rough) pencils. I'm waiting for it to dry before I scan and process it, but I can tell you the only things I ended up fixing with a normal Pigma Micron pen are the P and half the H in "Phillistine," and my initials in the corner (not added yet in this photo). Obviously I also whited out the blotchier mistakes here and there, but I didn't do any ink touch ups.

Filling in the large black spaces was actually much easier than I expected. I thought I was going to use a Sharpie, but I didn't have to.

To be continued!

All the at least vaguely tenable badges so far:

(I added a 30 into the first one as per a request. It seems to fit okay in there.)

Looks like I’m not the only one who had dinner with the FarmerX, we had oversized pigs in a blanket, three cheese mac n cheese, and chili,

Thank you! It went much faster than usual, but that's because you have to reeeeeaaaaally simplify your line work when you're using this sloppy a drawing tool.

Day 27 Part 2
I made like Ted Turner and colourized the final version:

The Farmer X helped open a box, open some chips and cut some paper; but just a glamour shot for the day.

Great cooking and food prep! Love the cartoon, Jothra - I’d probably go for the second version of thr badge as my favourite, but they’re all good!

Day 28

This morning’s cycle ride was against a strong headwind out and back!  :ahhh Never mind, the next task for the morning was more profitable - went round to a friend’s house to help him with a rat problem (I shot over a dozen! Hopefully that’ll help restrict numbers for a while.... he’ll let me know...), so the FX’s screwdriver here helped me take off the bipod from my other FX, an Impact Mk II in .22 ready to resume its usual place next to my back box room/home office to deal with the occasional scaly tailed intruder into my back garden (thankfully not in the numbers I saw at my friend’s!!).

Shame, SurgeUK.... Sadly it’s a necessity round here to keep on top of the rat incursions from the railway line wildlife highway leading to a McDonalds half a click away - I don’t like poison which gets the rest of the wildlife we (me and my neighbours) do enjoy, birds and squirrels. At least the Corvids can eat the rat corpses if the foxes don’t find them first that is!

We don't get many where I am (above a shopping centre) although I did see one a few years ago.

However, certainly not enough to justify a decent "ratter"  ::) I suppose that's a good thing though  :dunno:

This was my first rodent despatch unit (RDU) and I loved it  :dd:
