that does look good Nix Perhaps even better enjoyed after one of Mrs Surge’s tasty looking pickles all washed down with one of Sos’s excellent looking beers
Day 27 Part 1If you look really, really hard, you can still see the non-photo lead I used to do my (admittedly rough) pencils. I'm waiting for it to dry before I scan and process it, but I can tell you the only things I ended up fixing with a normal Pigma Micron pen are the P and half the H in "Phillistine," and my initials in the corner (not added yet in this photo). Obviously I also whited out the blotchier mistakes here and there, but I didn't do any ink touch ups.(Image removed from quote.)Filling in the large black spaces was actually much easier than I expected. I thought I was going to use a Sharpie, but I didn't have to.To be continued!
Great stuff, Jothra!
Day 27FX and peppers (Image removed from quote.)
Thank you! It went much faster than usual, but that's because you have to reeeeeaaaaally simplify your line work when you're using this sloppy a drawing tool.Day 27 Part 2I made like Ted Turner and colourized the final version:(Image removed from quote.)End: Day 27
Day 28This morning’s cycle ride was against a strong headwind out and back! Never mind, the next task for the morning was more profitable - went round to a friend’s house to help him with a rat problem (I shot over a dozen! Hopefully that’ll help restrict numbers for a while.... he’ll let me know...), so the FX’s screwdriver here helped me take off the bipod from my other FX, an Impact Mk II in .22 ready to resume its usual place next to my back box room/home office to deal with the occasional scaly tailed intruder into my back garden (thankfully not in the numbers I saw at my friend’s!!).
Nice I always liked using my airguns (many moons ago) No guns now
Shame, SurgeUK.... Sadly it’s a necessity round here to keep on top of the rat incursions from the railway line wildlife highway leading to a McDonalds half a click away - I don’t like poison which gets the rest of the wildlife we (me and my neighbours) do enjoy, birds and squirrels. At least the Corvids can eat the rat corpses if the foxes don’t find them first that is!
