Thanks for the generous GAW
Very nice of you to do so, good luck to those participating!
It can take a little while for some members to find the GAW. Not every member checks this board. I do hope to see a lot of folks get in on this. These blades look amazing and the polished edge you did is very well done. Either knife should be a wonderful companion for the field or back yard bushcrafting.
giving this a bump. were are our Brits?
The Real Steel in D2 should make for an awesome knife. I had that on my list for a while but having got some other nice fixed blades it has stayed on the "list". I have seen some really great reviews on it and have also read some great things about it. What makes it really awesome is that its offered in a GAW. TG, I also thought some might feel awkward about "less fortunate". I see it as funds being allocated elsewhere as funds should rather than on sharp and shiny things. I also see it as the state of things can mean less hours at work or loss of work altogether. Maybe a move or a bill on the vehicle came up. We all experience our funds needing to be allocated elsewhere. Maybe you feel you don't qualify? Only you know your situation so add your name to the list. I do hope if anyone felt awkward please don't. I know Dexters GAW is meant to be fun and see these wonderful knives go to good homes.Have fun and good luck to you all.
I’m a bit lost for words at all the great responses. Thanks everyone for your input and helpful comments. This is what makes this place awesome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
