Day 24

Got a "tech deck" (finger skateboard) in a clam shell, and Mikov Fixir liberated it.  It's crazy what folks can do with this little thing, and some are hilarious with mini pants and shoes.  And yes, I told Mrs it was for the little guy...

Nice organizer!  let us know how it works out!
Personally, I do feel this brand has one of the highest quality of stitching, and everything is pretty well thought out and perfectly executed.  I have more than a handful of Skinth sheaths and organizer, and YBO's stuff just complete blow them all out of the water (loose threads, uneven and skewed pocket, etc) :like:

I would say the scissors move like Wenger (or at least my SwissBuck which is the only Wenger I have).

Day 23:  Got a mini crossbow really cheap, and it's something I've been wanting since I was a teenager.

This may be the most dangerous thing I own; even including the chainsaw.    It will hurl any thin "stick" type object like toothpicks, matches, and Q-Tips with one end cut off quite a distance. About 50 feet outside.

Need to find something straighter and slightly longer. May make my own out of some thin doweling rod. I used some Diamond matches, and so many were warped or cracked, and they often wouldn't fire.

They lanyard ring can be a real pain on the TT, it's not so bad if you flip the clip around, and it should be fairly trivial to cut off with a file.

Has the glass breaker not bothered you? I'd have imagined it'd be scratching and poking the fabric of your organiser and pants etc.
The glass breaker hasn’t been an issue.  I hadn’t thought about switching the pocket clip.  I may just try it with the pocket clip removed, before cutting the ring off.

Day 24, another day of non use. Presenting the most useless tool this one has: not sharpened enough to use as a small chisel, and angled so steeply to use as small screwdriver

Of the two screws one is integral to the knife, like the pin of a SAK and the other just screws into a liner plate so if they feel weird that's why and best to completely replace the screws before moving onto the other side  :tu:

Day 24

I didn't use my Armbar today, so I just took a pic of it next to a SAK I just got.  SAK-alike, meet SAK.

Edit:

I just noticed that my Day 23 post is missing. :ahhh  I don't know what happened... here it is again.  I was breaking down all of the Target boxes from my wife's multiple online orders.

Designs like that always make me wonder if the designers actually use the tool before mass production.  I think sometimes it becomes obvious with copycat tools, which manufactures understand the purpose of tools and which are just trying to make cheap imitations.

Day 24
Stuck with the Mini TT again today.  It opened a couple envelopes and cut up some fruit.  I was going to use it to cut dinner, but decided for a longer knife

Day 25

Let's look at the T2's straight driver/prybar/package opener.

The driver (listed as a medium screwdriver by Leatherman) is perfectly adequate for tightening and loosening slotted screws:

The tool functions well as a small prybar. I was able to prise up this Romex staple that had been driven nearly flush with the plywood:

On the side of the tool is a chisel cut edge that Leatherman lists as a package opener. I didn't have any clamshell packaging on hand to test it out, but it did open up this new box of washers:

Day 24: looks like somehow I either put it in the wrong thread or forgot to post it yesterday

I decided I'd try the Pierre Cardin by Richartz I got in that lot a couple of days ago.

Decently well-made knife, but I don't know what the noted fashion designer, and probably one of the better manufacturers of SAK-alikes were thinking. This knife has the toolset of basically a Bantam (but with nail file replacing combo tool); but weighs twice as much. It's thicker than my Camper, but doesn't weigh that much less.  The handles are very thick and solid.  The black accents are aluminum, and not glued on too well.

One of the things I like about this knife is that I can pinch open the main blade, saving a bit of wear & tear on my fingernails…
