Day 3 of 30 (Stack Challenge)

Opened a bottle of wine for dinner. I used the grasp-bottle-between-feet-and-pull method.

I've got to admit that this is the first cork I've pulled out with a SAK and it was surprisingly easy. Mrs P and I have several lever-style corkscrews so have never needed to use a SAK. But in the spirit of the challenge, I gave the nod to the Champ.
SAKs:
58mm: Bijou (3), Classic SD (7), Mini Champ Plus (mod), Alox Classic SD, Rambler (3), Companion
65mm: Wenger Esquire
74mm: Executive (2)
85mm: Traveler, Delemont S10, Bass
91mm: Champion "c", Swiss Champ (4), Explorer (3), Deluxe Tinker, Huntsman, Serrated Spartan/Weekender, Explorer Plus, Deluxe Explorer Plus (mod), Outdoorsman Plus, Champion "a", Champion Plus, Timekeeper Alarm, Golfer
93mm: Pioneer Alox

Day 34 of 60:

Swiss Champ played a key role in making a new utility pouch to day.

The fabric is "upcycled" from an old gas-grill cover. Scissors, of course, but the awl helped with the layout of the snaps as well.

Day 35/60.

Number plate light replacement with Phillips screwdriver. The bulk of the SwissChamp is a disadvantage here given the proximity of the screw to the body of the car such that it was best done in quarter turns. But do-able nonetheless.

It's not the Swiss Champ that's too big. It's the car that is too small  :pok:   :D

Day 35/60
Today the 'ol Swiss Champ helped making a tag for the key of my treasure chest (MTs and knifes that I dare to carry and use. Some spares and shelf queens are buried somewhere else  ).

Excellent use.

But can I be so bold as to say that’s a pretty empty chest if that’s where you’re keeping your SwissChamps? I think you need one or two more.  :pok:

I think the same way as you, Fast Bill.

People keep saying that they want the inline Phillips in the center of their SAKs, but could you have used your Champ for the job if the Phillips was in the center? I'm guessing not with 3 or 4 layers on each side.

Having the Phillips offset at least gives you a chance, even if you have to do quarter turns.

Nice collection McStitchy!

Day 35

Awl/goose finisher worked again this morning. Used the scaler to remove some oat chaff from shotgun. Ver handy tool to have along in the goose blind!
This afternoon the blade and scissors helped add twine to the baler.

And that’s the thing Steve. No one is saying this is the perfect tool for every job but it will get them done and done satisfactorily. It is a multi tool after all and it was quite usable. If I had nothing else it would’ve done fine.
