Day 32 of 60 ( bonus fowl action ):

Maybe I was just jealous of Jackpine's geese, but a chicken seemed to be in order.....

For some reason I struggled a bit with cutting this bird up. I took my time, but just didn't seem to be as deft as usual. The Swiss Champ did an excellent job. It is even surprising how well the 91mm blade does with this. I was just a bit off. Still, the bird got pieced out reasonably well in the end.

The pieces got grilled and dressed with a commercial BBQ sauce that I doctored up a bit with cider vinegar and extra spices.  (Cooking details in the Dinner on the Weber thread.) Turned out really well....if a bit sticky......

Day 1 of 30 (Stack Challenge)

Hello! Nix said I could jump into the second half of the Go BIG for a 30 day SAK Stack Challenge badge.

I'm using a black Swiss Champ that I bought back in May. I wanted to stay with the original gray-frame mag glass so off to eBay! It's in great shape other than a crack in the mag glass frame. But a thin strip of duct tape took care of reinforcing that. (And got me a Duct Tape User badge.) It's stock other than I burned in a second pin slot.

The Swiss Champ is an upgrade from the Champion I've had since 1983. I wanted to add pliers and they do come in handy.

I missed the first half of the Go BIG Challenge as I was in the Daredevil Challenge with my Delemont Evolution S557. A frustrating experience. So I'm looking forward to a month with a much better SAK!

Today's uses were package opening (used SeberTool M2 clone) and beer opening.
SAKs:
58mm: Bijou (3), Classic SD (7), Mini Champ Plus (mod), Alox Classic SD, Rambler (3), Companion
65mm: Wenger Esquire
74mm: Executive (2)
85mm: Traveler, Delemont S10, Bass
91mm: Champion "c", Swiss Champ (4), Explorer (3), Deluxe Tinker, Huntsman, Serrated Spartan/Weekender, Explorer Plus, Deluxe Explorer Plus (mod), Outdoorsman Plus, Champion "a", Champion Plus, Timekeeper Alarm, Golfer
93mm: Pioneer Alox

:hatsoff: tastes fantastic too! I don't get much..the family gobbles it down as soon as it's ready, so it will be an empty dryer tomorrow  :-\
