It seems TikTok is more for dancing, lip syncing and telling jokes so I don't expect we will be making the top 100 list any time soon!

I personally like the forum post style ones better. I can quickly scroll through, see if it's a tool I'm interested in, and click the MTW link if I want to know more. The TikToks are more time/effort to watch. I do have a newfound appreciation for French Inspector Gadget because of them though, so that's a plus.

I'm glad you liked it.  I put way too much effort into trying to pick music for them!  :D

I also prefer the photo ones.  I tend to concentrate on them for Instagram in hopes of bringing more folks to the forum.

I'm not sure how successful that actually is though.   Mind you, with the "look at me" mentality on SM maybe we are better off without them.

The Boker Plus Vox Access Pry Bar may have a long name, but it is a remarkably handy little Titanium pry bar.

Designed by Jesper Voxnaes (where it gets its name from) the Vox has a small carbide glass breaker tucked in behind the O-rings.

Like small prybar tools?  Then you will love our Keychain and One Piece Tools section!

Don't worry, everyone is safe from the French Inspector Gadget today!   :D

If you've been following this page for a while you may be thinking "hey, I've seen this one before!" but you'd be only partly right.

Yes, I have posted a yellow EvoGrip Ranger 178 before, but if you look closely you will see that this one isn't the Patagonian Expedition Race version- this one is my user!

Read all about this knife in the Sacred Archives of SAKWiki.com! https://sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Wenger+Ranger+56

I specifically requested that model from Wenger.  I told them I loved the Patagonian Expedition Series but I wanted one without markings for myself, and a few weeks later it showed up.

I miss those days- the Wenger guys were the absolute best to deal with.   :tu:

I love the original 130mm line myself. I wish my Hunter had a serrated gutting blade as the Victorinox Hunter has, otherwise it is perfect.

Another entry in the "Didn't know or forgot about" file is the Curve from Gerber- perhaps the smallest tool you can get with locking functions!

And it is small, I mean, REALLY small.  The Curve will almost completely disappear on your keys until you need it, and that's when you will really see the value of it!

Read all about the Curve in our Gerber forum!  https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,88588.0.html

I can see why you would think that, but it is actually a remarkably robust little tool.  And I do mean little!  I'm constantly amazed by how small it really is, and yet it actually has functional tools and a working lock.

It's well worth having one IMHO.

It's been a while since I posted a spork, so I figured I'd better fix that with these sporks from UCO!

They are listed as dishwasher and food safe, which is comforting in an eating utensil, and they come with a spoon, fork and serrated edge on the fork for cutting soft morsels.

They seem a bit sturdier than the Light My Fire sporks but I've only done limited testing with them, so we will see how they hold up in the long run- Watch our Backwoods Cuisine section for updates!

At one time the Champion was aptly named, because it was the biggest Swiss Army Knife you could get- it was the Gold Standard!

In 1986 it was dethroned by the SwissChamp, this version is referred to as the Champion C as it is the third version, and differs from the previous ones by having a magnifying lens.

I have a few from different eras, and I think one could have a full fledged collector career just getting Champion variants!

Growing up I had a Camper and my father had a Champion.  I coveted that knife, mostly because I really wish I'd had scissors on mine.  Evemtually I discovered the Huntsman, aka a Camper with scissors and I was in love.

But, the Champion remained the ultimate SAK in my mind, and nowadays I actually have my father's Champion, which is actually special in a number of ways.... but more on that eventually!   :D

When it comes to Leatherman Charge models, the Costco Exclusive SLV is one of the great collectibles.

Functionally it is identical to the more common AL model, the SLV differs by having grey anodized aluminum handle scales rather than the AL's black aluminum handles.

Based on the Gerber Suspension, the Resolve is one of several different variants that were available.

The concept was simple- create many versions of the same tool and sell each variant through a different Big Box retailer, and everyone gets their own "exclusive."

This particular Resolve came in a set with a Mini Suspension and Foreman flashlight.  Read all about it at the Multitool.org Encyclopedia:  https://wiki.multitool.org/tiki-index.php?page=Resolve

One of the most popular multitools of all time is unquestionably the ST-1 from Schrade.

More commonly known as the Tough Tool, the ST-1 was produced in the USA until 2004 when Schrade went bankrupt.  The name and IP were purchased by Taylor Cutlery, who continues to produce the ST-1, but the USA version is the version preferred by collectors and users.

The Gerber Mini Suspension comes in two versions- the P (for pliers) and the S for the scissor based version.

But, did you know, while they may have been packaged as new models, it was actually just the Gerber Clutch and Shortcut with fancier handle scales?

I don't know what it is but I can't seem to like a lot of the esthetics of a lot of the newer Gerbers

I just keep thinking about the time I watched Bob crush the Tough Tool at the Taylor booth at SHOT.

They should have changed the name from Schrade to Notso, because it really is the Notso Tough Tool.
