Day 16 -

At home and having a leisure morning that includes coffee, a fresh baked cinnamon roll, and to choose a trad knife for pocket duty from the few I have…

And, I truly enjoy and feel blessed to be part of this challenge honoring DEAN!

I found this site out of interest in MultiTools wanting more info from like minded individuals, yet Robert who was on another site with his examples also was here, inspired my interest and revised my interest in the pocket carries of my youth and into the current.

I do enjoy AWL the pictures, the stories of each of your selections.  Just need to be happy with the pictures and not having to picked everyone I like.

I am honored to share my habit… :hatsoff:

Day 15 -

Finally grappled the mail, all holds were deleted today.   It is Friday?   Felt like Saturday to me :dunno:

My DLT Case Carbon Bareheaded Trapper was freed from the shipping carton by the Buck 250.

First impressions, the Scales are actually nicer than the pictures showed.  For Green I can use this.  The blade required some work with the steel before it could cut paper without tearing, the edge was very rough.  Luv the Wharncliff  blade.  The brass liners do dress this knife up.

Day 16:

I improved the edge on the Case Wharnie this morning. Later, while cutting the grass, I noticed another broken branch on a hail-damaged tomato plant. The Wharnie performed the required surgery with precision.  :tu:

Thanks, Steve! It's just one fish in a sea full of nice knives.

Hen & Rooster Dirt Buster Jr.
Sweet! I assume it's Solingen? And how would you say it compared to the Sod Buster Jr?

Day 16

Hopefully this one is dissimilar enough to an SAK that it doesn't arouse Steve's ire! It's marked only "Solingen Germany," so I have no idea who manufactured it. The pile side liner is lifting, and the corkscrew wiggles when the master blade is partially open, so I don't use this one. If I ever decide to try my hand at knife repair, this one will be used to learn the ropes.
