    I figured my interaction with the Opinel Challenge was at an end.  Except for reading the posts and looking at the pix.  Wrong. 
     In my beaten and dented mailbox today was a pretty white padded package.  Somehow friends, FolderBeholder had figured out a way to get her gift sent by mail instead of having a delivery truck stuck in my driveway.  A very light package actually. 
     How did she do it?  I suspect magic, but women do have their ways.  Here it is.

     Don't it pretty?  It even smells nice out of the package.  Sort of woodsy.  I have been lucky this week.  First a very minor windfall.  Then yesterday, I escaped without a scratch from a near head-on collision with a very reckless driver.  I wound up stopped off the road but was able to pull away.  Driver went off without stopping to see about damage.  Thanks again.  I like the folder.  Best wishes. Morning involved with alien probe procedure 😵‍💫

Home now, and waiting for anesthetic to flush from my system.  Did enjoy bowl of soup but was instructed to hold off of the greasy cheese burger till tomorrow and no driving today at AWL.  (2  polyps., were removed)

My No7 removed my wrist bands after lunch, and first nap…

   Good to hear you finished with your tests, Gordon.  I sent you a little message already.  As for staying on Folder Beholder's good side, I try to stay on everybody's good side.  I'm not trolling for freebies.  I don't give anybody grief.  I didn't join for that sort of thing.  Everybody here is nice to me.  I try to have some fun and enjoy myself.  If anybody has a bad day or feels put down by anything I have written, then I have FAILED for that day.
    Get mad?  So far nobody has said or done anything that would make me mad.  Certainly not you.  I'm not very savvy on Amazon and shipping and box delivery.  I never order anything.  I didn't know that Amazon had trucks.  I know Amazon only as a name.

I've been using my No 8 w/ picnic kit exclusively for lunches at work this month (I briefly considered doing the same for food at home, but decided I wasn't quite that dedicated).
