Great pic  :tu:  My daughter is 18, and she's still 100% a kid in my heart.  Yeah, a young adult too, but mostly my kid  🥰

Very cool. I don't believe I've seen a serrated Seahorse before. It seems odd for a whittler!

Cutting open some water softener salt with the No 5.
How often do you need to add salt to that rig?

Sticking with the classic yellow delrin and joining in on the Sodbuster love.
Good choice! :like:

I keep coming back to this knife...

This is a birth year Trapper. You might just be able to make out two dots under "U.S.A." It's on the chopping block, but I'll want strong money or another 1978 Case for it.

Case Muskrat

My little guy is 4 and he once told me that he would want to stay 'little'.  But I told him he will always be my little boy, no matter how big he grows.

I am not there yet, but I am pretty sure she will always be your kid no matter what.  And who knows, maybe someday you would bring your grandkid to the same ice-cream joint, and show them this photo on the challenge thread too?

Day 28

Rocking Yella Trapper today.

So Carhartt has a thing with some of there newer pants that the fifth pocket is small but if you cut out a seam it will be bigger.

Ain’t got around to cutting the seam on the pants I wore today so carried the Trapper in a slip next to my AirPods. Worked out great with no falling horizontal action all day.

15-20 years ago, I remembered a conversation I had with a senior colleague about kids, I was still dating at the time and he was about to retire.  I asked him what is it like to have kid(s) in family, and he told me that's the single great gift he ever dreamed of.  Fast forward to now, I do thinking it is a privilege and cherish the time I am with them.
