Day 28:
Quick picture before we hit the road to the cabin. I'm not sure if I'll have service this weekend, so if not, I'll catch up posts on Sunday or Monday. Have a great weekend, everyone! (Image removed from quote.)

Day 28
Took my little brother out for the day and he bought Fisher a new toy, so the Soddie cut the tags off.
(Image removed from quote.)
I never envision Fisher would be chewing up a spacewagon like a godzilla someday, but this is going to be fun! :D

Now seems as good a time as any to say how my giveaway will work...

I'll give it a little time after the challenge ends, to ensure that everyone has had time to complete it (allowing for catch-up posts and all). The drawing is tentatively scheduled for 6 August 2023. I will go to random.org and use it to select the winner.

Everyone who completes the challenge (except me) will be eligible to win. If the winner lives in a country other than the US, the UK, Ireland, Germany, or the Czech Republic, I'll need to know how to mark the customs form to ensure smooth sailing.

I think I got everyone here. If I missed you, please let me know and accept my apologies.

Follow up on yesterday post, I reline a case of Schatt & Morgan knives with a new velvet.  The original case arrived in poor condition, dealer just let the all knives rattled around inside the velvet case with extended blades, and it torn up the velvet pretty badly.   Luckily, no cracked scale or shattered glass because of that, and am really glad to find some new velvet to reline it with.

That is a nice Tribal lock.

I bid on one like that just a couple weeks ago… it ended up selling above my budget.

Nice score.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Very cool. I don't believe I've seen a serrated Seahorse before. It seems odd for a whittler!

 8)

It's not super whittly, but it's a pretty capable blade arrangement overall.

Day 29!

Penultimate Case knife for this challenge has been this fantastic "antique" bone Half Whittler.  As usual I used it once or twice for opening the post (mail) but I never think to take a photo.
