Surgery is done, thanks for the wishes, everyone. No complications or anything, just some pain which is normal.
Alright already, count me in. I'm just finishing up my final days of the 30 Day Cheap Chinese Crap Multitool Challenge. Why not do a back-to-back challenge 01. Thanks, everyone. Recovery is slow but steady. I'm doing physio twice a day. Still on a lot of painkillers. The food is tolerable. It seems that the food is either chicken or not chicken.
Glad it went well. Best not to ask what they're feeding you. Just assume it's good for you, put your head down and eat what you can. Otherwise you will be hungry all night which makes the discomfort worse.
Welcome to the challenge! USA is a good country for this, so many brands.

Won't be long before this Challenge begins. I hope nobody has forgotten. Not likely, right. Best wishes to all and especially Reamer. Gary [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
Might as well. I decided I'll focus on US-made, and especially "fallen flag" brands like Camillus, Schrade, Queen, (and apparently very recently, but soon to be revived under Blue Ridge Knives) Ontario. Most of my EDCs are US-made anyway, and they'll see some use as well. Heck, I only have to swap my SwissTool XC for a LM and my small Seki-made Klein for a small US-made knife, and I really don't have to shake up anything major. However, Schrade USA DL-2 (or Tough Chip) vs. Vic Classic SD is gonna be hard. I know Vic nails the Classic's scissors, but I've never had a Schrade one. So, a Micra would probably be better, and it is US-assembled. The "one knife" I'm buying next month is gonna be $165, and other than a LM Fuse, I haven't allowed myself to buy anything more, and I've been saving up for that Emerson for a few months now. I do have a Schrade USA 106OT that I think has the same scissors as the DL-2, but it's a rare knife and I don't like carrying it often. 01. BPRoberts - Ireland02. nakken - Norway03.
