Day 8

Another day at the office, another Minichamp tool coming up short….

Again, no action shots from the office so here’s another pic of the SAKs and tools involved.

Nice pic marlowe! :like: :tu:  :tu:

Day 8 of 30:
Used the main blade to trim some paper to cover my classroom door in order for my class to decorate it for Native American Heritage Month. No pictures of that, though. This evening, I also used the main blade to cut/crush my daughter's medication in half. I really need to find a better method. Some split nicely, and others crumble.

Day 8

The emergency blade was great at cleaning up this small 3D print.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

   Day 9
MiniChamp vs Rye.  The mini main blade made short work of the bread.  No surprise there.  Oh, for MTSAK.  You can buy a pill splitter at any pharmacy.  Looks like a little plastic box.  Open the lid.  Put the pill against the guide.  Close it.  Keeps the split tablets from squirting across the kitchen table and going under a cabinet too.  Cheap fix.  Best wishes.  Gary

Day 9's morning wander found a lonely Shaggy Inkcap and upon contemplation felt that it was too far gone for eating, so with the scalpel it has been sliced and mixed with spring water to release the dark black ink, which in a few days will be heated with some cloves to fix it for use.......

Stoer, I remember the days of the old Kodak cameras with the plastic film cassette and the square flash bulb on top.  Circa 1970's.

 :tu:

Unfortunately so do I 8).......but it's a pleasure to use film, the analogue feel, something real, just like the SAK :tu:

Day 9
These are the three MiniChamps I've used so far in the challenge.
The red one was called to duty today to open another Mini, this time a MiniTool.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

I ordered some heavy duty split rings to replace the ones on my SAKs, which came in today.  My MC helped open the package.

Day 9

Used the cuticle pusher to tighten a screw. It makes a decent screwdriver in instances where the ruler's sd is just to narrow.

Day 10
MiniChamp got called up to slice up some celery stalks, then after a period of recuperation had to do mail opening duty.  Vegetable substance performance was satisfactory, but paper envelope slicing was outstanding.
I'm not really a itty-bitty knife carrying type of person.  Extra things waggling around on my key ring are annoying.  So I never carried a 58mm of any sort, although I have owned and used them for various things.  I'm a one big knife kind of guy.  Generally the biggest stockman was what I wanted.  I did carry an Uncle Henry Bear Paw for a while.  I liked it, although it carried like a rock.  It seems like I had a big Puma before that?  Maybe a 110 Buck for a while?  I don't know.
Anyway, I discovered that I used some of the other types of tools more than a blade and started carrying a big SAK.  Or GAK if you please.  For 10 days I have been adequately served with just a 58mm.  Stays on my little lanyard.  Works so far.  Best wishes.  G
