We definitely wish you the best and a speedy recovery.     (Image removed from quote.)

Thanks! Already done. :D
Now to test the Micra with my left hand.

A very important task!
The Micra is absolutely dwarved by the Surge!
I hope both Crunchie's pup and RP are feeling much better now.

More great stuff, y'awl!

Day 23

The best tool for breaking the seal on nicotine pouch cans is one's thumbnail. Second best? The tip of a Micra's file.

This was the last of the single cans of spearmint. But y'awl need not worry about me...ten more cans arrived today.

Thanks! The file tip is just excellent, I wish my Manager's file was like that.

That is one itty-bitty ratchet! :like:

Day 22

I managed to lock myself out of the house yesterday (don't ask). The Micra's screwdrivers were used in a failed bid to gain re-entry. Fortunately, they didn't get tweaked.

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

The cap lifter is the only tool I haven't used yet. That should be rectified shortly.

I had to employ drastic measures to gain re-entry. Again, don't ask.

It's the 711L mini ratchet. Kinda expensive. For the same money you can get a Topeak or Granite set with bits and wallet. But it's a good little ratchet. Just about perfect for a keychain.

And ok. I won't ask. :ahhh

Day 23

Cracked the tip of my fingernail, used the nail file to clean it up so it would stop catching on clothing.

Have to drive handsfree as I do not wish to donate MT buying funds to PC Plod.
Me, either. Anyone who calls me when I'm driving will have to leave a voice mail.

Thanks! The file tip is just excellent, I wish my Manager's file was like that.
I think the screwdriver tip would just chew up the seal on those cans.

Cracked the tip of my fingernail...
I've done that way too many times in recent memory. Some of those nicotine pouch cans fit together very tightly.

Used the Micra to tighten some screws on the screen door...
I now have inspiration!

Another great day, y'awl! :tu:

Day 24

When did anyone last include a bacon photo in a challenge?

Another goal, likely over a long term, is to have only cast-iron pots and pans. It really does improve the taste of my food, and it doesn't have to be handled with kid gloves.

It has been a crazy day, trying to get a Devon for a caravan holiday, 9 hours of travelling and loads of Micra use, but the end day (and only) picture is of a night time tea with the Micra....oh well

Daey 24

Day of errands and stocking supply shopping prior to the holiday weekend.

Home ahead of the storms that are rolling in, so took no time after awl is put away, to relax on the patio and enjoy the rumblings and cloud action.

Also, a photo of the  MICRA after extracting a small splinter.   Next to a new Stockman with CV steel.

I used the Micra to open an inhaler...
That looks like a corticosteroid rather than a rescue inhaler? It's likely the VA will be sending me both soon.

Next to a new Stockman with CV steel.
And amber bone?

 :pok:
I hate to get off topic, but…. Please… do this for your health.

Write  down the name of the inhaler that he pictured here, and ask for the equivalent prescription for your new rescue inhaler. The new rescue inhaler you should be getting should be the American equivalent of this rather than Albuterol.

If your doctor needs a reference to ensure that what I am suggesting is correct, it is in the “GINA 2023 Report”.

If you have questions feel free to send me a PM.

And amber bone?

Yes, matches the Mini Trapper W does it not!  Which matches the Trapper W, a  Texas Jack, Tribal Lock, a ‘47 Stockman etc. yet this 95 is CV steel.  My purpose to have for a true working knife.

Also, I helped a man in Bar Habor, Maine last fall, I arrived by cruise ship, he by a Rubicon Jeep !

He had an issue with his dogs new lead and I held the dog and he pulled an Amber bone stockman in CV and sliced thru the stitching error to make his pup more comfortable.

It just worked.

Cut the broken hanging tab off this little tackle box with the micras's scissors, actually worked better than I thought.

The new rescue inhaler you should be getting should be the American equivalent of this rather than Albuterol.
The OTC one I'm presently using is epinephrine. I'm sure the order has already been put in, so I'll get whatever the VA pharmacy sends me. But I'll mention that when I see the doctor again come July.

Day 25
Peanut butter cups...a favorite of mine!

Another thing I'll be doing before this challenge wraps up.

Now sun cream on me and the girls, and then off to the beach...
It's sunny here, too (after a rainy start to the day)...but there will be no trip for the beach riverfront for me.

It's been a while since I've posted a pet photo, so here you go.

Glad to hear it. The thing that the totally rapid acting nonsteroidal inhalers have fallen out of the standard of care as they lack long term benefit.  The new paradigm is dubbed Single Maintenance And Rescue Therapy (SMART). The public health sector has had challenges with spreading the word in America, while Europe has had great outcomes with this approach.

Day 25

Hold tight! :woohoo:

Actual use this morning!

The new Stockman that arrived late Thursday night late had tang stamp indicating a 2022 build.  The box label did not have born date.

Closer examination, I see a label on a label, possible this was returned previously and a new stock label applied.

The chisel grind blade of the MICRA is the perfect tool to scrape up the edge of a label held in my left hand😎

Yep, the factory label is intact, 02/23/23 is the date on the label.  Mystery solved and box is pristine yet👍
