MAH MAN!!!
AKM finally came out to play.
what brand is that?

That, my friend, is an Egyptian Maadi.  thumbhole stock, but an excellent AKM!

Oh yeah! Very cool.
That's rarer than hens teeth here.

Day 25
I got this Olight O-Pen from my son,it's a cool bolt action rechargeable penlight
I'm amazed at how bright this little light is.
I haven't run it continuously,so I'm unaware of the charge life. And it has 3 intesity settings,so probably will be a few minutes
My first olight was 1 of those keychain lights,I gave to my son's wife (along with a Micra),as an intro to edc.

Day 25

Petzl Zipka.  This is probably my favorite headlight.  The headband is a retractable wire that really saves space when not in use.  If used dialy for long hours, some complain the retractable wire is not reliable enough and it is not the most comfortable wear.  But for my occasional use for night hiking, I think this is quite adequate and easy to use.

Day 25

Decided to swap back to the Aurora. The Angel Eyes doesn't add a lot of value for pocket carry to compensate for the bulk and having to lock it between uses. Still like it as a backup, among other things, but not the best keychain light.

Day 25

Had to break out the Olight to find a needle I had dropped.  I was starting to worry because my 4 eyes couldn't find it until I engaged turbo mode.  Kids and pets are always coming into my office so it was imperative that I find it.

🔦 DAY 26 🔦

carried the Manker Striker mini again today and got some beamshots tonight of various targets. this little thrower can hit the trees and buildings on the other side of the water which is pretty impressive for a tiny 14500 (AA) battery.

it really works quite well as a pocket spotlight. i've been eyeing some other throwers lately and may pull the trigger on a few because they are just so much fun :D

Is that Tool forward or reverse clicky?  I have a Tool, i believe it to be a first gen.  It has been refinished, and has no marks on it.  It is reverse clicky.  I have been wondering about the 2.0 and 3.0, if they were changed to forward.  It is a cool light, the reverse is not bad, just not used to it.

it's a forward clicky.

this is from the countycomm website   where i purchased it:

Light modes: High / Low + hidden Strobe
Tactical forward click switch (mechanical switch): Slightly tap to turn the light, release it the light will go out. Full press till a click sound is heard to constantly turn ON /OFF the light.

- Half-press to cycle through the modes (High/Low), full press till a click sound is heard to constantly turn on High (or Low).
- Quickly double half-press to activate strobe, full press till a click sound is heard to constantly turn on Strobe.
- Full press till a click sound is head to turn on High mode, and full press it again the light will turn off; keep full press it to constantly on Low, and full press it again the light will turn off;
- The light will automatically reset to High mode when OFF for longer than 2 seconds.

Day 22

This is another Surefire 6P of mine, mounted on a rifle.  It has a Malkoff m61, fancy bezel, and an old Pelican remote switch installed.

that Surefire 6P is pretty sweet especially with the Malkoff m61 fancy bezel  :tu: :tu:

Day 26

Though I am a fan of Hanklight and not new to multi-led flashlight, I recently just gotten this Acebeam light based on a few YT raving reviews.  I still haven't used it enough to make up my mind, but so far as good.

Day 26
I found a LED module for the E2E incan (think it was Lumens Factory),and forgot about it.
I really like the size of the E2E,so I'll pull the trigger soon.

A couple of emergency lanterns which are nice for camping or power outages.

Both can recharge via solar or port.  Both can also be used as emergency charger for phone.

They are.  Very light, minimal space; yet easily light up a tent or room.  The solar panel is a little small and slow but good option.

Good thing about the Hanklight's RGB led button is you could choose whatever color the buttons/front lens to be, when they are powered off/standby.
