Catch up....

DAY 23

It was my youngest daughters 6th birthday, the Leatherman sideclip and pst were used extensively...action shots not possible as it was full on, so a staged shot of the pst with balloons

We had a Princess Aurora, visit....

Like Steve says, I can't believe this month is almost over.  I love this challenge because I'm a big fan of the PST.  It isn't modern in today's terms, but it was downright revolutionary when it came out.  I think I'm going to continue carrying mine for awhile.  I look back and know why I moved on to other multi tools, but I think I could carry one, especially with mods like Poncho has done, and not come up short.  It's just so nice to carry!  I barely notice it on my belt.

@Barry Rowland: great comparison photo! :like:

@gra_farmer: happy birthday to your youngest!

@FolderBeholder: :iagree: that one is too nice to use!

@mvp: hope she didn't make too big a mess! I've always called those "high chairs."

@kaevin: I have plans to order a new Leatherman soon, but for now...

Day 25

While I was racking my brain trying to figure out what to do for today's photo, a new friend arrived.

 :iagree:, Barry!

I have a fondness for the PST because I remember buying mine new in 1984 when no one I knew had any idea what a Leatherman PST was. It truly was revelutionary.

And I agree that it is just so nice to carry!

Day 25

Packing day, travel tomorrow.
Last photo, PST gets tucked away in the checked bag tonight so not left behind.

Here it is resting on the tablet serving as a kindle reader.

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

DAY 25

It was a dark day when phenylephrine replaced pseudoephedrine in most cold/flu medicines.

Makes them entirely useless now.

Anyway I've been fighting some nasty cold for a few days, so one of the big duties of thr PST has been slicing open the packaging of the pills.

Once several years ago I went to just "push" them through and popped one of the gel capsules.

I've been considering getting one of those Soldier 08, or OH Trekker whatever you prefer to call them. But as of yet haven't pulled the trigger on one. How is it? I've considered one of those or a leatherman K2 or K4, and because I'm indecisive I haven't gotten either.

Going to carry the Sideclip today.  Seems there were a lot of the Timberland logo'd ones issued.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Sideclip helped me wrap a knife I sharpened for a friend

This is the knife, a lionsteel M4, I knocked the secondary edge off, to a sort of flat convex grind

While not the prettiest knife, the EKA Swede 38 is in my opinion one of the greats. Similar to Spyderco. It's purely function over form.
