So down here we have these things called blinds, which are supposed to block the sun's light from entering through windows. Thing is, they do not work.
So, I used a cardboard box to do the job, but it kept folding, and letting light in the room. So I used straightened coat hangers to make the box stay flat and rigid. They just slid perfectly in place and just stay there by friction. It helps that they are not perfectly straight.
And I made staples to hold the two sides together, as well as hold in place the extension flaps, because the box came up a little short.
Third picture is my contraption blocking the window, with the door open.
Forth picture is with the door closed. That's about 99.9% light blocked.

I could make it perfect, but it's basically pitch black already, and the wire skeleton makes the thing stay in place nicely.
I was so happy with the wire bending I had to share.
