Whew!!
Day 16
e
I started my robot vacuum to vacuum the family room, rushed over grabbed my small plier tool, slipped it in the pocket and drove over to RURAL kING for some supplies!

Found the gas can in sale, new pallet. Still wrapped in plastic, no problem !!! No knife ?!?!

Employee cut one free.    Scooped up the other items, coffee, Famous Dave’s pickles, jar of pears, weed killer, and double check coffee!

Inspected car, no mini tool.  At Home search garage floor.  Nope.  Kitchen nope, family room floor. Yep !!!

Missed the pocket 😱

I’ve come to really like the small NexTool
DAY 16:  One tool I want in MTs is the file, and I'm very picky about files.  For a small tool, the PS4 has a decent file.

I was wondering, Noodle.  Did you write Glock on the side of your holster, so anyone reading your post would know what they were looking at?  Or was it already written there so you would know which holster to grab?

Your Lordship -

I wrote that on there because I have about 9,000 holsters (not really), and its largely impossible to tell which is which unless I write the name on it.

I heard a rumor that you were going to determine the course of the next mini-challenge.  For Friday.  I heard it from a pretty reliable source.  Powernoodle is going to be the one.  I think it has been verified.  Pretty near certain.  Heard it.  Okay, I made it up.  G

YOUR LORDSHIP.  :MTO:    A candidate for knighthood? :dunno:

Day 17

I have only added one purchase as result of this challenge, so even surpriced, I did that one only to be taken back by the count of that brand, thinking I was onto something

I did come to the realization that this challenge was going to be a pain if I tackle with only my LM style PS very early.

Pliers yet are function for very small chores on my tools.

Yet the blades on the three tools pictured will see the daily duty going to the END.

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

:ahhh  Challenge to create a mini-challenge accepted!

The Challenge for Friday August 22 is:

 - whittle the end of a stick, pencil or similar wood item to a sharp-ish point. On Friday August 22, post a pic of the sharpened stick/pencil/etc. with the shavings and the blade you used on the keychain pliers tool.

This stick whittling mini-challenge requires an extreme skill level rarely seen in mini MT users.  But I was Granted access to examine the curriculum vitae of every participant in this Challenge, and am confident that each person has attained the status of MTO Legend sufficient to complete the mini-challenge.

This mini-challenge is void in jurisdictions where legislation is in place to protect innocent sticks from defilement and desecration.  Be safe, and obey all local laws.

I'll be honest, if it wouldn't get me tackled by security, fired, etc. I'd sharpen pencils with my knife a lot more often. Most of the time, the pencil sharpener is halfway across the room and works poorly anyway. This is why I use pens.

Day 18

The CS4 is a real fave of mine, essentially a SAK Huntsman with pliers and easily pocketable but a bit big for a keychain imo

The mini is a nice tool, as per the pic not that much bigger than the PS4 and you get a full sized tool, but again not a keychain tool

Apart from the Skeletool, another fave, LM seems to have abandoned the smaller models

Day 18

I think our friend Aztec made up for the lack of orange colored things in the mini-challenge.  Orange bandana, orange pen, orange lanyard, orange watch band.  I particularly liked the orange oven mitt.  I have one that has a cartoon of a fat chef with a moustache and chef's tall floopy hat.  Unfortunately, there is no orange color on mine.
Might as well take one more photo with a trumpet vine.  The last blooms for the year, I suppose.  Best wishes.  G
