Day 24

Failed to take a picture of the Master Fisherman in action while I was breaking down boxes for recycling.  So here it is getting it's edge freshened up for tomorrow's heavy chores.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

I struggled coming up with an Excell macro in VB just to move files from one server path to another.

I've done pretty shady code in PowerShell to transcode files or parse them into something and then move them somewhere, but never had to go the path of excel macros for moving files xD

Hadn't done anything like that in 20yrs and it's probably not pretty, but it worked.  I was given a spreadsheet with the file path of 20,000 image files that needed to be moved from their current varied locations to a separate folder, all on the same server.  I wasn't about to go hunting and pecking so after a bit of googling, and trail and error, I was up and running with my hacked out macro.

ANZAC day here in NZ (and also Australia). Attending dawn parade and four other services for the fire brigade as I was senior officer present . Took the formal Spartan as special occasion got used to cut some terminal block to assist in getting power back on to the RSA after an equipment failure .

Day 24
Needed to open two cans of tuna, so took the opportunity to compare SAK can opener vs combo tool.  As expected, the can opener works better, but the combo tool still worked well enough.

Day 25

Finally the discussion here deteriorated into something that I know about.  Macro and codes.
I will have to come down on the side of friend MTSAK with the Velveeta and shells macro.  That stuff is tasty and you only have to rip open one pouch to get the cheese out.  No mixing in milk and butter with an iggy powder.  Perfect every time.  As long as you don't cook the shells the Italian way.  Al dentist (translates to hard enough to break a tooth).  Boil em till they are nice and soft.
I never tried Excel macro.  They don't sell it here.  I am using Rotelli just now, but I used to buy Skinner quite a bit.
As far as codes go, I have used the Captain Midnight code quite a bit.  You don't even need the secret decoder ring if you know how the code works.  Using the decoder is lots cooler though.  Impresses the females too.
Time for a photo.  Best wishes.  G

Day 25

I agree Gary, the Velveeta and Shells does it the best for box offerings.   Add some bacon crumbles and you have a  gourmet side dish of macros.

Ground hamburger brown up, or diced hotdogs anothe variant!   I was somewhere that they even mixed in lobster bits🤭

Just finishing first cup of coffee, too early to even select my carry today.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Good chance it will be one or two of these😁

PS: Tape and P Clip in bag, in SUV in garage!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!
