Depends on what kind of donuts, and how you define safer! If it's Krispy Kreme glazed and the hot light is on, assuming I don't wreck my car trying to get in the parking lot, I still might cut myself in haste to get the box open!

Well, they weren’t Krispy Kreme, but they were pretty tasty.

I second this....

Day 3

Didn't have any donuts handy but I did have some delicious mangoes that my mini canoe made short work of.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

Day 4

Happy 4th!
Schrade 25OT. Lots of companies make a knife of this pattern. They all seem to be 5.25 inches closed, but I think most of them (Schrade included) shorten the blade to less than 4 inches, probably to comply with stupid knife laws. Case is an exception.
I saw a US Imperial knife like this on eBay recently, but the price was higher than I paid for my Case 6265. No go on that.

I think I gave $3 for this Old Timer at a gun show. That was mid '90s at least; maybe even late '80s.

Day 4

Happy Independence Day!

I'm enjoying a quiet morning with some coffee and a red, a "white", and a blue Case knife.  (I don't have a white Case knife, so light yellow will have to do)

I hope you all enjoy a great day with family, friends, and neighbors... cookouts, fireworks, or however you celebrate the day.   🎇🎆

I love that bottom knife.  Beyond the few brands of knives I like, I know almost nothing about pocket knives.  I never heard of Wards - I’ll have to read up on that manufacturer.

Edit: so it’s a knife manufactured by another company for Montgomery Ward.  Interesting  :like:

Thanks,

Yes, this one was made, I believe by Winchester.

DAY 5  As much as I like the gadgets of SAKs and MTs, I'm really liking the simplicity of the trapper.

Day 5

No slacks today, so I can carry a heavier knife.  :woohoo:   I'm carrying a Case Barlow I received as a gift last year - it was out for my red, "white", and blue pic yesterday, so it was the first knife I saw this morning.  It's getting a workout breaking down some boxes.
