on: October 07, 2025, 03:40:24 AM
Let's see if I can qualify for a Level 1 badge.  A 58mm Victorinox Bijou (green), 65mm Wenger Esquire (red), 85mm Wenger Highlander(red), 84mm Victorinox Bantam (black), 91mm Victorinox Tinker (white), and a 108mm Victorinox Trooper (olive).
     Best wishes.  Gary

I aimed my photos east taking a great circle route so they would reach Greece first.  It probably took an extra 27.5 seconds to reach Hollywood and friend Alan.  That's probably why he threw the flag on the play.
I figured I might as well try for the first badge.  I think I got the first one.  Woo hoo!  Thanks Reamer.
Best wishes.  G

Nice assortment, and congratulations on the badge! I think I might have to request that one myself.

Thanks, and why not get your own?  I wouldn't have made enough to get a Level 1 without my old 108mm.  It's a good thing that I gave the old relic a cleanup with a toothbrush.  Shouldn't be too difficult with an old 74mm or whatever.
Best wishes,
Gary

Really like that bantam Gary and we’ve definitely seen that trooper put to good use over some challenges

Thanks, friend Echo.  The pretty Bantam was a gift from a member here.  My first and only alox.  Trooper has been through it since I bought it new.  I found the box for it last year, I think.  I paid $10 for it new from a sporting goods store.  It was a true EDC until I joined this place and got corrupted by the excess and discontent here.
You have the easiest route to a level 3 badge if you decide you want one.  I am not really a collector.  I think I acquired everything in my photo since I came here.  Two smallest ones came out of the surprise box.   Oh, I did already have the Highlander before I came here but never really carried it.
