Thanks captain :salute: I intended to disassemble it to clean it properly when I found out I didn't have a proper screwdriver. It's high time I bought one.

Not sure if you are familiar with disassembling folders or not. If not you should look on youtube for the particular knife and there will most likely be a dis-assembly video or two.

Be extra careful with the screws, especially when reassembling and tightening them down making sure not to tighten to much and strip anything. It can and will happen easily if not careful.

If you have any questions and I can help I will. Good luck.  :tu:

EDIT: As far as the drivers needed. It should just be Torx T-6 and T-8 if it is the same as the Tenacious. I suggest Wiha or Bondhus.

No, I'm not familiar with this :D It'll be just ... take one off, put it aside, take another part off, put it aside... and then assemble it by following these "steps" back :D

Only oil them if there is an issue like yours or I happen to have the oil in hand and a knife close by.

Maybe if they we're exposed to.salt water I would but not often in the ocean.

Cappy is right about the drivers and being careful you don't strip the screw heads.

Just wanted to add that in the future if you have or buy more Spydies that every screw Spyderco has ever used falls between T-6 for the small scale screws to T-15 for the pivot on a Military.

Thanks for the info! Well, since I don't have the appropriate screwdrivers at home, I'll have to go actually buyyyyy one(s) only for the pleasure of disassembling my Spydie. So maybe I won't do it soon. I do have one such screwdriver, but it's suitable for the tiny clip screws only.

My knife's safe for now. Unless I run to the store and buy screwdrivers  Who knows. lol

Military in all black.

Been researching my next Spyderco and I'm going with a Military. I love that it's a 4" blade.

Excellent choice. The best Spydje imo.

There is a 110V Millie coming out at some point although it could be a while. Fyi.

Your Endura is just like my most carried single knife.
The saber grind allows for a very sturdy tip for such a light thin knife.

The full flat grind does better for food tasks but the tip does not inspire day to day EDC confidence.

Dig my saber grind endura 4!

I traded for it with ToolSlinger. I'm happy to just get another Spydie.
I do have a FFG Blacked out Tenacious coming in as well.
