I just hit the "Pay Now" when I saw this....I have NEVER seen one of these for sale before, either in Korea, or in the U.S.A. (except over-priced Space Shuttle models).  This one comes from Quebec, Canada.  It was not on E-bay long, apparently just popped up when I logged on earlier this afternoon.  I will see it when I get home from Mesopotamia.....Vic Master Craftsman.....late 1970's, early 1980's.  Squared Phillips with Can Key!!

It's a great SAK I have one on my belt as I write, although the box says 'Astronaut' same tools, I managed to buy BNIB, you will enjoy.

Amici,
Here's my latest SAK, a hardwood scaled Swisschamp along with an LED upgraded Maglite solitare, and a Nylon pouch that carries both items both securely and comfortable. Being in IT, this is the perfect "out in the open" option, since it resembles a cell phone case, and once they see that the pouch contains a SAK, you're met with OOOH'S instead of the dreaded, AHHH'S of a professional carring a possible "weapon" on their persons, oh my!

Cheers,
Serge

Alox Solo and Prince that I got from felinevet's edc store.
I must say I really like the 74mm size much better than the 58mm

I gotta agree with this, it's a real shame Vic doesn't seem to have done much with the 74mm range in quite a while.  With that said I've got a MiniChamp on the way. :D  Now if only they did one of them in 74mm. :dd:

A Blue Michel Jordi classic!

(Image removed from quote.)

Have you not already got all the variations yet? ;)

(Image removed from quote.)

Oh not at all. I only have the red versions in 91mm and 58mm until this blue classic. I keep getting outbid for all the other colors. I thought I had a black one awhile back but I was away from the computer when the bidding ended. AFAIK the color assortment for Michel Jordi SAK's is ;
  • Red
  • Black
  • Blue
  • Green
Any others?

That is what I thought. Yellow would be super cool though.

Reiner,

That's a photo I took of one of my trays before shipping them. Most of the collection is still boxed up from the move. A winter project will be getting shelves and getting everything unwrapped and out.

Wayne,

Thanks for providing links; I can't find half the stuff I posted on SOSAK myself.

Can't compete with some of the cool scale designs you guys have... But I did order a Work Champ and a holster for it yesterday...  :)  It's going to replace the Swiss Champ on the strap of my EDC bag.

It appears you can ;)

I quite like that design but I always worry about the longevity of printed designs on SAKs that are regularly used and carried.

Very nice. That one is on my wanted list. But that list is quite long, actually :D

Excellent choice! That's a very good SAK. Big, but awesome :)

Thanks... I'm looking forward to it.  I got a Crunch a few weeks ago, my first full size LM, and I think the Work Champ will compliment it nicely for my EDC bag.  I've been trying to reduce redundancy in my EDC compliment and from what I can tell, the combination of these two will give me the one of each goal I want, but also greatly reduce the amount of feature overlap between them.

I had that worry too. I carry my Micra in a pocket with my keys. I wouldn't feel right doing that with this one. I do like the soft scale though

They get white, dirty white. :D Here are pics of my first SAK ever, a Wenger Commander (Snife Waves) after a few years of pocket carry (age 12-15) compared to a new one from Chako. So if you intend on carrying it, do it in a pouch of some sort. It would be a shame to loose that nice pattern.

Wow, nice find. Where did you get that one?

My new additions are now way near as  worthy as the last pics we've seen.

Ranger with grooved corkscrew, Executive and two Classics, one of them with an emergency blade. I like that one better than the original.
