Very Nice. What timber is that? The figuring matches the blade well

Thanks :) I'm very happy with this one. It looked really dull when I got it (yesterday) so I was not impressed at all. This morning I gave it some TLC, polished up the liners & spacer and it made a huge difference! the backspring and liners went from black and ugly to nice and shiny 8)

I also got 7 DAKs (5x the 2010 model and 2 alox ones) that need some TLC as well. They will make an appearance on EDC Source soon :)

I'm not sure exactly, I'll have to find out.

Nice.  Assembly on this one is a little rough, I wonder if the newer ones are a little better?

My tattoosteve modded "Deluxe" Farmer just arrived minutes ago.  Beautiful work Steve, it looks like it came straight from Vic with the pliers already onboard!    :salute:

I have a similar two-blade version. It has some faint lettering on the clip blade, possibly including "Zurich". Have a picture of a three blade version with what appears to be the short brass grafting blade, and the cryptic note "1943". Don't have any other info on them.

Thanks Karl! That's a nice one.

Mine has Kienast Winterthur on the blade which is a Swiss knife shop according to Google.

I've been spending the last few months bouncing through my hobby collection , and just got back round to picking up the odd SAK.  :climber:

I picked up a bunch of stuff recently, including a Mike Horn for a decent price...  Haven't had a chance to take pictures, save for these three I was toting out on the farm a few days ago...  An old-style Wenger "MiniGrip", an EvoGrip 18, and an Evo 88.

I think maybe I've developed a thing for Wengers...   :D

Thanks!  The mod was done by tattoosteve, and as you can see, the workmanship is VERY nice.  I just got this beauty on Saturday, but I've already used it a bunch.    :)

Isn't it beautiful how 91mm pliers work in 93mm frames with two saw backsprings? Even the grind and polish that's done to the thumb lever to make them close all the way makes them look better and more comfortable to use.
