They look nice, but I don't know how well the finish on the blades would wear. For every-day use I think I'd go with the yellow or red EvoGrips instead; a lot more visible if you drop one in the weeds. I'm particularly fond of the RangerWood; a nice piece of wood on it.

I think the finish should hold up pretty good if it's a good PVD coating.  I've been very impressing with the coating on other stainless steel items.  Luckily I have too many knives so I don't have to worry about EDCing them, besides they have no scissors so they are not even EDC friendly on their own for me.  The 63 though would be my choice for a black tie party though. :)

Ya I love the smaller 85mm woods so I knew I hade to get the big one.  Hopefully Tim has it in the mail to me already.  The walnut used on the smaller knives so far is just top quality stuff.

My latest is a cybertool from FV, and 2 compacts from the bay.   I actually only owned one cellidor model before this, Im an alox lover primarily.  I never thought Id want the cybertool type but the idea grew on me.  Im not sure if this will remain as is, or get morphed into an alox mod... time will tell!

The SwissBianco Black Alox Farmer woke me up with a knock on the door and the demand for a signature yesterday. I was more than happy to let him in! After all, it had been a very long trip from another continent just to get to me...

A SwissBianco Black Alox Farmer from the first run of 27 that +B made in 2010, of which 20 came to the United States and 7 stayed in Europe. This was one of the 7 and it came to me from Germany.

Mine is a SAKalike charity shop find. The blade is marked 'stainless' and the scales have a Polish emblem. That's all I know about it. Here's a pic;

It seems nice and sturdy, no blade play, and the multi tool balde is interesting and exactly like an 'Aitor' Spanish army knife.

Other than that, my latest SAK actual is a Huntsman, my perfect EDC unless it came in Alox.

It may be a Mil-Tec. They also made this type of SAKalikes. I regret VIC didn't continue with the 108mm line. The designs of tools AITOR and Mil Tec came up with on some of them are great. Especially the GAK +fold out pliers. :ahhh

It is a well designed tool. Ultimately I'm going to put it up for trade though because I know I'm not going to use it.

Not sure but you might have already answered this question, So what are your favorite Blues men? I must say SRV and BB King are my top 2.

Who are the other 2? Freddie and Albert? Aren't they both dead now? I saw BB in Reading UK many many years ago and he was superb - got to shake hands with him too, but then I think he shook hands with the entire auditorium! what a guitarist! saw JLH, SRV and best of all, Buddy Guy, in a small tent in Bracknell. They should all have their own SAK's.

I'd have to say, in no particular order, SRV, "Magic Sam" Maghett, Albert King, Freddie King, and Albert Collins.  BB is in there too, but I like my electric blues a bit "dirtier" than he plays.  Just posted a little Magic Sam in the Break Room.  :tu:

EDIT: How the smurf did I leave Muddy off that list? :facepalm:
