That's pretty Gareth  :tu:

I got this little chap today
I think its a climber-small with metal tweezers (before 1978) and grooved corkscrew (before 1991 )

:twak:  Sadly some muppet has broken the tips off both blades

Everything’s adjustable

Not orange, just a very standard yellow classic.  Like this;

My pic makes it look slightly more orange that it is, though I also think that it's slightly darker than the above picture.

I have only seen one or two of those, and you have them in both sizes.

Swiss Knife in Lausanne carries the Swiss-handled Climbers. There are a number of similar full-sized knives from France, Germany, Argentina, etc.  Getting hold of those is difficult. The small knives, Classics and a Minichamp, were apparently done for an annual trade fair in Basel, Switzerland. I picked mine up on ebay. Stressmaster also has a very good selection these knives.

I like the liitle ones with the solid solid and the extra little cross.

Ya I like your Yellow one, I think you have the earlier yellow not the most recent canary-yellow they have been using.

well that would make sense, I certainly wouldn't call the one I have a 'canary' yellow. :tu:

I don't actually know what the scales are made of.  Stainless Steel?
This one is the gold plated model.
The scales are very thick and the knife has a nice weight to it.
Here is the original thread with the standard model as well.

I just recieved a Huntsman. Except the scales, and the dirt, the whole SAK is like new. Blade has it's factory edge. I have serious doubts about giving it to my friend, whom I had bought it... ($15... :D )

Own pics:

Small collection of SAK's, (but growing rapidly. :D) not so fast at this time. :( And the most important of all: Ze Zuper Zoldier by Steve!  :ahhh

It's a Mountaineer (or Montagnard in Canada). Early versions didn't include the hook. (# 1.3743).

Karl
Thanks that's it. No hook. It's actually in very good shape. Only 1 small spot of rust in the file. Time for a good ole soak in oil to protect it (minus scales of course) ;)
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?
