Thank you! I am very happy I have found this one. Next on my list is Wenger 64 (same toolset but regular blade and evogrip scales).
The clip point is great. Here a comparison with other Wenger 85mm blades:

I've never owned a Wenger with the clip point blade...may have to see about hunting one down.

Nothing exciting but I've never owned a Alox Solo before.

:like: I have one that was a birthday gift from Mrs. FX. It's a little too sentimental for me to want to carry it.

Great choice.  I have a Deluxe Tinker next to my desk at home and use it often.

Wenger 565, without box but still with the original protective foil on the scales!

Hang on - What is this?   ???   A recent Wenger with Clip-point blade?
Do you have any more details on this Model 565 - I don't think we have it in the Wiki    :pok:

With 3.5 hours to go until midnight and 2026 here in the UK, I’m going to risk the wrath of the London Victorinox shop and post a little early…..they did specifically ask me to wait but I never manage to get the annual LE’s until about March usually so just can’t resist

My first visit to a Vic shop, they’ve a whole floor dedicated to SAKs and was most enjoyable. The staff were quite knowledgeable too, which made it even better

I doubt my picture does it justice, a particularly nice shade of blue this year

Can I claim it to be my latest if it's still in transit?

Another Alox MiniChamp was supposed to be here on the 26th.  Nope.
Then it was postponed until today.  Another nope.
Now it's supposed to be here on the 2nd.

We'll see.

Unpredictable deliveries are frustrating.  I keep seeing little articles about USPS problems and delays.  Don't know what's true anymore.  Best wishes.  Gary

I'm not quite sure.  I've got at least half dozen Alox and probably another dozen celidore.
