And these are still on the drying rack (well the red one has been used for a few weeks, it is an alpha test for my coating process):

All silver alox models with a bit of a makover!
Lurking with a large collection of sharp knives!

Just in, a couple of small fancy Vics to make up for the Saks 5th Avenue Classic I didn't buy.

Mother-of-pearl Pocket Pal (?) and red lacquered Deluxe Classic.

Those are fancy, Karl. I saw a couple of DeLuxe's in the Victorinox outlet a while ago. Do you have one with the shield & cross?
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

I have a Deluxe Classic gold with cross, but all of my lacquered Deluxe Classics are plain. Haven't seen one of those with a cross.

Just noticed some with crosses on the SAKwiki Deluxe page.

I have a NIB ribbed Cadet II but I just cant bring myself to use it... need to look for a lightly used one that I can graft my 84mm scissors into. They are currently in a Bantam + scissors "Faux Voyageur".

My latest SAK is actually a GAK.  Okay, it's not even a Vic'.  I.C.A.R. ROSTFREI tang stamp.

But it was real cheap. The postage from Germany was nearly 2x the price of the knife itself.
But the funniest thing was the "packaging"...
It came wrapped in an ex German Army red beret which at a glance on eBay is worth more than the GAK was.

I know that seller!
I once got a Bandana and once a German Army Sports top.

they are qquite nice, although i would not advise to buy teh lots with 2nd choice GAKs - I wanted to make 3 or 4 decent ones out of 10, but you can´t make a decent knife with only Combo tools. the blades usually are FUBAR

The blade is quite good on this one, a couple of small nicks but nothing too bad.

The saw is wicked sharp and it even has the saw guard.

This one arrived Tuesday... pretty cool, the different scales color and the black shield/cross is really interesting, caught my attention more than the other with USA theme.

That's beautiful.  Did you do this work yourself because the peening is spot on.  :tu:
