I'm a hand polisher myself.  I just don't trust myself not to ruin scales otherwise  :ahhh
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I use 600 and 1000 grit to sand it down and then I use a Synthetic Polish Mob,the cheap kind with the Velcro backing you usually get with when you buy a drill or sander/grinder,they are useless for polishing your car but excellent for polishing up cellidor scales, for polish I use a polishing cream.

The 100% wool mobs and the stacked cloth ones will burn your scales very easily as they tend to heat the working surface quickly even at slow speeds and you have to be very careful when using them, the synthetic ones don't heat up so quickly and are much saver, don't try to just polish out the scratches, sand it down first and then polish the scales also make sure the drill or sander you use have variable speed settings and use the slowest setting. If the scratches are very deep you'll have to live with it or get new ones  :)
Rest is not idleness,
and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day,
listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time

I really like the idea behind the CityMan... well done.

The CityBasic mini is also a really nice tool set.

There seems to be a lot of great mods showing up lately!

That Greensmaster SwissBuck is pretty hard to find so hang onto it. Notice too it has a Spear pointed main blade while ALL other 85mm SwissBuck knives have the clip pointed main blade.
