I’m waiting on. Fenix ld12 and a couple of fenix  usb charged 14500 batteries.
This is to replace an olight baton that went in the bin after stopping working after 2 years. I have been a big supporter of olight but this is the second to go in the bin so thought I would give fenix a whirl.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.

I'm also waiting for a set of loki wrenches. They entered Australia a couple of days ago. Fingers crossed I receive them this week.

I had two bits on the way, 1/4" to 4mm socket bits, that I paid double the cost for ePacket.
I check it, and it says delivered. I check the mailbox, nothing.  :(
I open a dispute, and since the "tracking" said delivered, the dispute was instantly resolved as "no refund".

That sucks.  It might be worth looking around your front door, delivery drivers are all doing the "drop & run" technique these days.No ringing doorbell, no signature required (even if it was specified), I guess it reduces their chance of catching covid-19, but much less secure.

Maybe AusPost  delivered it to the wrong address, and the recipient either kept it or threw it out - two wrongs added up to deny you any justice :(

I had someone drop a book off to me 18 months after it was delivered to a wrong address (no idea why they kept it for so long and then suddenly developed a conscience or something).

No idea what happened.
I paid for ePacket, so that it would not take too long, and would have tracking. Well, the package was not tracked at all in Australia. How can it be delivered (even if it went to the wrong address, which is what I suspect happened) without having it tracked at all? Who "delivered" it without scanning it once in the country?

I guess I am just unlucky. I've lost so many packages it's infuriating. Jokes on me for paying double the item cost for tracked, fast shipping. And no refund.

I'll lay off the reviews for a while. I am too scared to order anything now, with holiday season being so close. I just hope I receive loki's wrenches. That was an investment much greater than the two bits.

One of these from SAKTaschenmesser  :tu:

https://www.knivesandtools.co.uk/en/pt/-boker-camp-knife-anniversary-edition-green-116051-pocket-knife.htm

Thanking you Sir  :salute:

Pretty cool! Seems you got the last one, it's no longer available.

  :tu:

Great idea having the bail near the large blade pivot. It prevents the blade from closing on it.

I knew I had to get one soon (I've been dithering for far too long)

It won't be used heavily but will be used as I don't really do shelf queens; so far

I really like the look of the green curly Birch, it's just so different to anything else I have  :D

All I need now is a decent pouch type thing to go with it (pocket slip type, NOT belt type)

I do like the one that was advertised on the HH site (with chain)  https://heinnie.com/boker-sportmesser-oak

The hunt begins... :ahhh

It looks a bit strange, to have the chain pass through the pouch... maybe it works fine, I had to try it.

Go ahead and make one yourself!

Ordered a Gerber Flik. I am still hesitant to order anything since I lost the 4mm bit adapters the other day, but I could not pass up the good price. Fingers crossed I receive this one.

Two Italian Navy knives (copy of the British pattern). I have a WWI 1917 knife by Wostenholm--it's over five inches closed. Same with a 1950s Canadian-made Case/Metal Stampings, which when the British shrunk the pattern, they kept with the big prewar pattern.  I have a tiny Captain Currey, but it's on the small side at 3 1/8" closed, and the bare slabs are painful.

I paid $28 shipped for two--that's just over $14 a knife. Now the real problem is probably gonna be getting off the cosmolene without wrecking something.

Pretty sure the Navy knives don't have can openers. These are BAK copies.

Does look like the middle one of these army-issue clasp knives with marline spike and tin opener...  :dunno:

Another free Olight i3EOS (well the $5 shipping I had to pay, as always) from a promotion "testing their new website".  This replaces the one that ended up behind the bathroom wall when I forgot it was there doing work on the house. Olight has these "free" i3EOS (and occasionally better lights like the i1R) so often, I view my i3EOS almost like a disposable light (which I don't--but they are my EDC light of choice). But, they're far better than any other $5 light on the market. As in--they don't quit working the first time you drop it. And brighter than a Maglite Solitaire while having as good, if not better runtime.

I have a SwissTool Plus on the way. It look like a '98 model, new in box. A fairly cheap one so I'm quite happy!

It will be replacing the one I bought second hand in... 2000? That one is completely abused and b0rked  :ahhh

Almost got the Roxon Phantasy and some blades, but instead got a Suspension NXT. My Workpro is good, but not great as a budget offering when I need a cheap beater tool. The file sucks, and the saw that sucks. Plus, I've dealt with Gerber's warranty three times already without a problem.
