Upon doing some testing, it looks like screwdriver bits and the extender from an assortment bit kit fit in the Opinel 9 Diy. I might get a smaller bit kit with a longer piece for those hard to reach areas and more utility.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

They will work Tooljoe.  The biggest problem I've had is my bit kit is too big!  I've solved that by using a spare kit from Gerber.

I must say, your hand looks to large to properly use such a delicate sharp knife!

Beautiful wood grain on the No5😉
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

It actually is Gordon!  Hard to believe Picasso used one as his carving knife.  I love the wood they use on their knives! It's been awhile since I picked up a new one

Same here!

So tempting to buy just to get another lovely wood pattern.

The Olive and Walnut are my favorite statement Opies!

The Coloramas are my fun and festive cutters.

Blades hold an edge, a No9 SS serves well in the kitchen.

The No6 is my smallest.  A No9 my largest.

Be darn to remember who introduced me to these tools 🤔

Multiplied like rabbits…

Merry Christmas my friend!

Snowing here today!

Merry Christmas my friend!  Snowing here too.  I've got a stack of them, ranging from a No. 4 all the way up to a No. 12.  The olive wood is beautiful.  I have a No. 9 with it.

I received the new OPINEL no. 9 CIME knife for Christmas. This is my first no. 9. The ash, black walnut, and maple look beautiful together. The no. 9 handle is so comfortable.

The No. 9 was my first Opinel and probably my favorite.  I don't have large hands, but it fits just right.  That's a beautiful knife!  If you get a chance, go to their site and you can see the specialty knives being made and who makes them.

Nice pair.

I love coffee, but despite hearing good things about Cafe Bustelo, I have never tried it.  I might need to change that.
