Nice John :tu: :tu:

Thanks Barry . . . I'm beginning to appreciate the Wenger models more as I get a few and handle them.

My neighbor's elderly wife gave me her husbands Wenger to show appreciation for all the help we gave them, sadly he died.  I never payed much attention to it but last week took it out of my drawer and started to do some research on it.  I see it's from the dynasty series but after reading this thread i'm not sure if I have a Lancelot or a King Arthur.  My knife has a large mouth bass instead of the fisherman shown on all the Lancelot's i could find on the internet.  Any help would be appreciated and does it have much value?

The King Arthur has the fish near the bottom; the Lancelot has a hunter in the same location. Both models also came in plain black versions with only the crest.

The Lancelot had 11 blades. The Arthur had 13 blades (added inline phillips and universal wrench). The Arthur also has greater detail on the animals (note the wings on the pheasants).

By the way, welcome aboard!  Nice knife!

Thanks  -  Awesome picture showing the difference thanks for clarifying the differences.  I'm gonna hold on to this one but just curious to know how common it is.

They're part of the Dynasty series. Fairly uncommon, and out of production for over 20 years.

These should be posted here . . . just came in today . . . a pair of Wenger EvoGrip 64, their Evolution equivalent of the Victorinox Apprentice, with a single layer that contains a large blade, combo opener with flat tip driver, and Phillips on the back layer.

Something I picked up for USD35 plus shipping.  I think it's a Wenger Tool Chest (Plus?).

Here's a few pics of it.  It's well-worn -- lots of scratches on the tools, blade and can opener had dings on the edges, didn't have that snap when closing.  Had to use penetrating oil to get gunk out.

Noticed that the blade had that "W" on the other side.  There's also "Patent" on the cap lifter and scissors.

More pics.

It's also my first time to have a SAK with slip-joint pliers.

Thanks so much!

I can't help but wonder though on why the inline driver, cap lifter, and scissors all have "Patent" in them.....was it an earlier model? a latter model?

Quite funny that 2 iPhones and the compass in this tool can't seem to agree where North is supposed to be.

These NOS Highlander and Evolution S10 that were BNIBP (Brand New in Bubble Pack) recently arrived. The Highlander equates to the Vic Small Tinker with nail file in place of the pen blade. The Wenger Evolution S10 became the Vic Delemont Evo S101 as it has the small clip blade in place of the nail file.

I just placed an order for a Wenger Cigar 79!  Been tempted by these for years and finally decided to jump on one.  Anyone here have/use one?  Would love some pics while I wait for mine to arrive.

I have the Vic 36 and Wenger Original (between the 36 and 79).  Love them, they work great!!!!!! A nice clean cut on stogies.

My 36 lives in my cigar travel box and my Orig is one of my knife bags.

Some pix of both:
