I'm wanting to try that myself, but first I'm going to try it with a LM micra that I'm waiting to arrive.

My first try. Leather scales made from an old belt. I just realized I have no glue left, so fixing them to my Classic will have to wait till tomorrow.

Wow Altered.
Excellent
leatherwork. This is obviously not your first try.

Thanks for your kind words and a warm welcome, guys. It's a pleasure to be here.
It still needs some minor corrections - logo is a tad slanted and the cross on the leather logo needs a proper shaping. Unfortunately, I didn't have a file small enough to fit the hole, so I had to use my MiniChamp's emergency blade and some sanding paper. Most of the work was done with MiniChamp, Soldier, Huntsman and sanding paper, except for the rivet holes and T&T grooves, I used a rotary tool for that.
Pics were made with a phone camera, so the quality is a bit on the low side. Will try to make some DSLR shots outdoors today if the weather gets better.

That is fantastic. It should be part of the regular Vic lineup. I bet it has a great tactile sense.

Here's an old one I just found whilst sorting SAKs out for sale. Its not very exciting but as I was taking pictures anyway
I called it The Inspecting Golfer
When I'm asked to make a mod for someone else I always use new or mint parts (unless vintage bits are required) but when building for myself to play with "good used" will suffice and if you look at the back, the liners give this away.
Why did I make it? Well it was part of my ongoing experimentation to find the ideal IT SAK. This isn't it but its a pretty good tool combination, even if I say so myself
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.
