This my 6347 with blades displayed, backside

Stockman.

18 is same configuration in a medium pattern and iirc, the Sheepfoot blade is narrower.
Pretty much, though I actually think the most pronounced difference is in the clip blades.

With apologies for the quick low quality pic, here’s an 18 pattern (blue) with a 47 pattern (red).

All other things being equal, I prefer the 47 over the 18 due to the slightly increased length and heft.  Case has tempted me into buying more 18s than 47s lately though, as it seems to be their chosen pattern for some higher end steel options recently.

A classic indeed. And this one is ten dot. There were some other choices but I kept coming back to this little yellow Stockman. One of the knives I am impatiently waiting for is a trapper with 1095 blades and the yellow delrin handles. Can’t wait to get it in my hands.

As an aside, the 18 pattern fits perfectly in the knife slips I have been making :tu:

Good looking TL LC!    :like:

Today I was lucky

Posted the picture, checked my pocket, sheath in place and continued my loop, a 2 mile loop through the preserve.
Came back to the main path, and the sun was reflecting ever so nicely off the rock, no not the rock, MY tribal blade

This doesn’t happen when close to home…

Thank you gentleman. Yes, I feel very fortunate, yet in reality, I was out later in the afternoon, did not see any one else my entire walk!

The only knife I have ever lost when out and about was a SAK Vagabond that fell out of pocket when extracting a coin pocket.

Also, a few Fisher bullet pens.  😢

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!
